The only thing I find wrong is the shading in. you could probably find a better medium than what looks like coloured pencil for this type of work. Try watercolours or inks.

Their good. As he practices he could make better and more creative stuff than.. ducks but still neat work.

well here is what i think
firstly. the age if he is around or under my age this would be Extraordinarily good, if older it is Still Really good
Secondly. from what i see the drawings were only ducks because he's better at ducks which makes it convinent and Comfortable and if that is the case i would give him advice to expand his skills to more than Ducks
But no matter This is Really well Done work and the person who did this should continue expanding his skills
