WELL. First, you'd try and find their name. Say he was chat spamming. Go on the HLstats, look up the nozzle's name, go to their chatlog. found the right one! So, now we get the STEAM ID and go to TF2, then go to a Skial Server, and type in "sm_addban 666 STEAM_0:1:2 "Spamming"

We do increments of days, and we measure in minutes. 1440 is a day. 2880 is 2 days.
You don't need quotes around anything. If you type that in properly, that will work.

I'll confront dave, knowing he wont spew the truth, i get angry and kick over a chair and piss in a jar.
I'll go into the HLstats, check out the people on the server at the time's chat logs, and see if anyone was complaining about it. If so, i'll ban him for a week doing this:
sm_addban 10080 STEAM_0:1:31124008 "dont drop the N bomb dave"
Circumstantial. It could have been a good group of people on the server conspiring to get rid of Dave, since tons of people hate Dave.
If Dave says he didn't do it, then you have nothing to go on. You would warn him to please not spam racist remarks, otherwise it'll be a ban. You don't have any proof on it.

If I HAD no proof, i wouldnt ban, but... people planning on getting rid of dave is highly unlikely. Too much work, plus, He was banned before for that reason. (was he actually banned before for that?)
Yes. Checking if people were complaining about it was smart, but that's difficult to find specifically.
Regardless of ridiculousness, always have solid proof, especially as a new admin, before you do anything.

I'd mostly be dealing with Micspammers, which are hard to get proof of when i'm offline, but thankfully thats only at night. I'll also edge a few of my friends (who often regular saxxy) to mole for me, when i'm off at a different server, to watch for rule breakers and notify me of any goons.

Just because I'm planning something doesnt mean im quitting what I enjoy doing. I'm still active hours on end, plus, Saxton needs a nice guardian to watch over it, since thats my home turf, it would help the other admins out due to the fact that they dont have to be dragged out over to the server just to deal with a petty problem.
