After this thread was brought to my attention, I realized that we could very well be sitting on top of a ton of scammer alt accounts who are posting in the trade sections, completely unbeknownst to anyone, as long as they don't use the Steam Login feature.
Obviously it shouldn't be required for non-trade forums, since the main purpose of Steam Login is to link trade-related sites to your posts. But for the trade forums, it should be necessary in order to view/post in those sections.
Not sure how this could be implemented, but I feel like it really needs to be. It might help to weed out a lot of potential scams.
