I've never noticed that sort of thing happening in west coast servers. Is it really so widespread we should lose the function altogether? What about a cooldown similar to votemenu?

I don't see any real reason that this server would need to be on our regular servers. Knowing what hats your fellow players have doesn't affect gameplay at all.

My point being they are taking up player spaces idling in spawn doing the !bp. If not disabling completely a cooldown would be ok

Sorry to ask this but, where do I go if I want to see the person's chat history. I just cannot find the button in player details.
The solution to the spamming !bp is just report them for spamming.

I don't think it's spamming but sitting in spawn not playing the game is griefing imo.

No point to disabling this imo.

Most of the sharks use a program that scans people in general so they don't need to do this. I don't think !bp adds to a problem on any server...in fact it makes people who are item whores take far less time going through people's shit if they're looking to trade.

As far as wasting a spot, I'd concur with that. But at the end of the day trading is part of the game, which is why you guys don't outlaw occasional adverts about trading. I don't think it'd be a positive or a negative to disable it, and frankly the more things you can offer people on the servers without slowing down performance the better.

Under the statistics summary.

Trading on any server is fine. It becomes a problem when you're spamming trade chat and you can't see anything else any other player says. If they're spamming the !bp command and/or spamming trade chat, simply use votemenu to mute them. If it doesn't pass, report them and take a screenshot of it.

We would hear a bunch of shit from the traders on the trade servers when they can't have someone just BP them instead of saying everything that is on a certain page of their backpack.

Also, it isn't a reliable way to shark. Just lol at them and say they can end the game. hopefully someone gets that reference.

Its voteban but thats too harsh. As doomer said, get an admin.. It rarely happens i guess, but if it does, report in.

Well if it's just normal trade chat once in a while, it would be fine. If you're saying trade chat every three minutes, then that's considered spam. If it's just once in a while then I think it's fine.
