Here are my 2 cents:
Cinic is actually being civilized about this all for once (/shot)
"Chuckles" is some random kid who joined just today, put "You mess with me, fine. You mess with the people I love, I will fucking murder you." as his signature, and is defending Direwulf with his life, while only making the case worse (as Osprey said), and being a little douchebag about it.
I say we unban Dire and switch the ban to this little prick :)

Cinic you must really hate him. Don't you think everybody deserves a 2nd chance? We are all humans and make mistakes.. I think you are very hard to him. We know that what he did was bad, wrong and should never have happend but come on stop fighting.. Call a vote or something and we know what the majority thinks after the vote passed.

I would gladly give him a second chance if I knew that he wasn't spending a disgustingly and freakishly large portion of his time - YESTERDAY, TODAY - to harass someone and cause drama.
You know, people keep complaining about all this 'drama' that goes on round this place.
The obvious solution is that children shouldn't be given a say in matters until they're wee intelligent enough to blabber somewhat coherently.
Also, I've been speaking to Direwulf in recent times. He is distraught for obvious reasons, but I do believe he has recovered enough to return to the server without excess fuss.
Unless certain members are on, of course. But I think he'd be sensible enough to avoid the servers if said certain members are on.
But kids. Get rid of them.
Also, I don't keep up with this forum (I think this is my second post yet) so don't bother responding. Chances areit'll be too stupid for me to tolerate I won't read it.

From what I gather, you guys might possibly think of me as level-headed and a voice of reason.
Just because CiNiC may have his own (but NOWHERE near as extreme) drama doesn't mean he's not right.
Let's leave CiNiC entirely out of this issue.
This wouldn't be the first time I've seen somebody apologizing out the side of their mouth while continuing to do what they're apologizing for.
I agree with CiNiC that Direwulf should remain banned. Dire might be a nice guy somewhere at the core but that's all wrapped up in a good amount of mental instability and a vast need for some therapy. Another part of the problem is that he has friends that I've had run-ins with who have been enabling him in this and aiding him in causing problems that we all have to deal with, admin or not.
Have some standards, people. Just because he's fun when he's sober doesn't mean that there's not going to be issues that we all have to deal with.

Because a small chunk of the regulars were affected by this, so they want their consideration also.
