Got a story you wanna share but you feel it doesn't deserve its one thread and it's too long for an update?
Post it here.
Anything that happened that you found neat/funny/cool/interesting can be posted here.

I'll start it off with a story of two young siblings I met in a hospital today.
the older child, a girl, had some metal disorder that was quite apparent when you saw her. She always had a huge smile with her top teeth showing, in a cheery yet unnatural way and couldn't speak so if she got excited for any reason or wanted something she would make this loud growling-like noise, like half yelling half mumbling and whatever she is trying to say isn't close to any language, just noises. Her younger brother just sat next to her, his hand around her shoulder and just looking around to see if anyone is staring at her and trying to see what is getting her excited. He couldn't be older than 7 and she couldn't be older than 9, and he looked around not in a mean threatening way, but like a loyal dog who is looking around guarding his bestfriend. The reason why I say the word excited is because that's what they little boy called her. She started making loud noises and started awkwardly clapping her hands, and he just looked around for a second and leaned over to his mom, on the opposite side of his sister, and asked in the most mature and cautious way "Mom, do you know why she is getting excited like this?". I just found it really touching and couldn't hold back a smile of just how cute and amazing that little boy way, protecting his older sister and just watching over her, when he simply could have ran off to the play area the hospital has set up for younger kids, letting his mom sit with her. I wanted to take a picture of them, and upload it so you can see how cute and amazing that kid is with his sister, but I decided not to out of respect for the sister as it can be easily misinterpreted for why I want to photograph a mentally disabled child and offend her parents.

Was sitting next to my friend during lunch today, a pale girl that I thought he knew just casually walks up and says, "So, you didn't sit next to me on the bus today. Will you leave me again today?" in the creepiest voice ever, and then she walked away. He had like the biggest look of shock on his face when she walked away, he told me how he thought it would be nice to hang out with her because she looked lonely and wanted to be friendly. Told me that she has been following him around the past week trying to be around him as much as possible.

I don't expect him to live past September.

I was on some food and nutrition trip or whatever to a supermarket in Toronto. My friends and I went off to buy some food during the lunch break and we noticed a homeless man on the sidewalk near the supermarket. We bought some food for him and I gave him $5 from my wallet, when I gave him the food/money I walked away but he called me back. He thanked me for giving him the food and money and he gave me a book about Toronto education system and the history of it. The book was about 14+/- years old and I was kind of surprised when I opened the book. He told me he had read it plenty of times and he told me what it was about etc. When I opened the book I noticed he made parentheses all through the book and I was pretty surprised. His writing was very legible(probably more than mine) and the grammar was perfect. It made me wonder how such a smart man ended up like that. Kinda touched me a little and I had some grief for him when I left

I saw an alien today. Was just chilling in my backyard, we cracked open a couple beers and started talking.

Actually, heres a cool story, not one that will get me killed like the one i just shared. oops.
I get a bowl of corn flakes. I can imagine myself walking in the sunset, holding hands and smiling. Hearing the crash of the waves as a gentle breeze flows through my body and hair. Walking miles and miles, while the moon rises high into the sky. The whole world is asleep, but I am the only one living a dream. I pour milk into the bowl. The graceful peace, settling into my heart. For once I actually feel alive. This is what it should feel like. This is how you're supposed to live. A longing sense of comfort. And as we lay on the sand staring into the night sky, the stars become brighter and multiply. Soon enough, the dark sky is brightened by each star's shine. I gather my spoon. We close our eyes, hand in hand and lie in a moment of silence when all we can hear in the background is the calm waves alining upon the shore and the light night breeze. We make a wish and lie together in a few more moments, appreciating eachother for everything we are. We then both open our eyes to the diamond-like sky, staring for a brief moment as we then both turn to eachother, lying on our sides. I am looking into your eyes and you are looking into mine. I pour the corn flakes into the bowl. I look at every inch of your body, then interlocking my eyes into yours once again. I inhale as you take a deep breath. I then begin to speak in a soft whisper. I tell you this is everything. You are all I've wanted. You were in all my dreams. You love me the way I wanted. You care for me like no one else has. I appreciate everything you've ever done for me, everything you've spent on me, everything you've said to me and everything you've felt for me. You are the only one I want. I am in love with you, my corn flake. Please keep me forever. Locked away in the eternity of time. You are different. You give me ideas. Thoughts, feelings, unlived visions of places I've never been or never knew existed, walking beside you in every one. It may be simple to state how I feel about you and say I love you a thousand times, but it is all too complex to fully give you the understanding of the meaning of the immense amount of love and appreciation I have for you. I tell you you're the one. You're everything anyone could ever ask for. I am thankful to have you in my life. I love you. I then pause and look into your eyes. You don't say anything. You can see the moon reflecting onto the calm ocean. A warm chilling feeling flows throughout my body as I watch you begin to slowly close your eyes and bring your body closer to me. Your face inching towards mine. As I close my eyes, I take one deep breath, tasting the chilled ocean air. I slowly bring myself closer to you, as you put your arms around me. I can feel your body heat and your soft hands touching my body. Our lips then touch. We kiss. Passionate, gentle, everlasting. This one kiss expresses all my thoughts, feelings, emotions and every little detail of every little existing idea, dream, form of all the words and feelings that I've developed for you. That moment, it was all unveiled. We lied there for minutes, sharing this dream we both created together. As we slowly move our faces away, I lay my head upon your shoulder and your arms around my body. The night had never seemed so bright and beautiful up until this day. It's like the world turned and everything completely changed. Everything was clear and I can actually breathe and feel each beat of my heart pound against my chest, as the blood slowly flows through my body. I can feel, hear, touch, taste (especially taste), see, smell and understand everything, in what now feels like what is cereal heaven. Lifelessly floating on a cloud, feeling fully alive. The feeling of being so unrealistically content and that a perfect life and person can exist is far beyond anything I could have ever perceived. I lift my spoon up. You are my savior and meaning for existance. I thank you for everything you will do and being there, always. We lie, staring into the sky feeling the air get colder as the night becomes later. I begin to open my mouth. It doesn't bother me though. My body is filled with a warming sense of completion. Everything I'd dreamed of having is fulfilled, finally. I close my eyes, and mouth, and daydream once again of having and sharing this same exact moment with you. Soon enough the stars slowly fade away as the sky becomes lighter and the light of the sun pierces through the sky, slowly rising as time repeats itself once again. I bite and chew. But this time is new. The feeling of being reborn into a life that you feel you've lived every single day. It feels so right. Life is beautiful with you. I appreciate things much more thoroughly. I love you. I always will. I dip my spoon back into the bowl. ~ Me
If you can find the sauce on this, and yes, I wrote this somewhere, you will be rewarded!

At one point, when I was a lot younger, I was addicted to the Gameboy version of Super Mario World. We went to Cali to visit my Aunt, but our flight was delayed by about two hours, so I took out the game and started playing it. I eventually got to a level where it was incredibly easy to (1) Start the level, (2) kill a bunch of Koopas in a row for an extra life, and then (3) go back to the map and repeat. I did this for an extremely long time, and when we eventually got on the plane I had about 200 lives, give or take. I finally went back and beat the game last year (wasn't as hard as I remembered it being), but I remember the fact that I never dropped below about 150-160 lives.

Driving around to Best Buy a few months ago to get a new keyboard, since I spilled water on my old one, and it died fully. I finally get there after a half an hour drive, getting in just before rush hour starts, and I notice I forgot my wallet. I ask them if I could just act like it's a phone order, since I knew all my credit card details, and 90% of the people who are supposed to check your ID don't when picking stuff up. They have to bring their manager in, and after a solid 10 minutes of bickering over crap I have no idea about, they conclude they cannot. The spicy African American lady taking care of me takes the keyboard and starts walking back to her post from Customer Service without a word to me. "Awesome." I drive home, going to get my wallet. However, getting out of this Best Buy is a rotary with several lights, stop signs, etc. Someone weird is in the right lane, accelerating and stopping erratically, so I go into the left lane to go past them. Suddenly, "Oh, shit, I have to take that exit!" There's a red light that's been red for at least 10 seconds, with everyone stopped, and only one car in the distance behind me. I need to swap 2 lanes, and I'm in Dot's car at the time, meaning that all the sideview mirrors are aligned for having your head against the steering wheel, fully leaned forward from the tension of driving. I put on my directional, and not even moving at all, the car from behind speeds up, goes to a full stop with 5 cars' room in front of it, and then they lean on their horn. For longer than a normal person would ever need to. It's a skinny Hispanic woman, just leaning on her horn, staring at me. I give her the thumbs up and smile, laughing at her anger, and go in front of her, opting to go all the way around the rotary again, and I lift my hand back up to flip her off emphatically. I sit at the stop light, and she pulls up in the left lane beside me, rolling down her window to confront me - smiling at my own calmness. "I HAVE A CHILD IN THE CAR, YOU MOTHERFFUCKING BITCH!!!!!" With a sheepish grin, followed promptly by a look of earnest inquiry, I ask, "If you have a child, why are you swearing in front of them..?" The woman looked forward in confusion for a moment. "Okay," she states flatly, rolling up her window and continuing to the red light.

Awhile back me and my dad were out in California at the glamis sand dunes (it's a place where most people to go ride their sandrales / quads / dirt bikes), it was late one night and practically pitch black. My dad and some of his friends went out on a ride. Two hours later my dad came back freaked out saying he lost track of his friends. At first I didn't see the big deal, it's not exactly easy to get completely lost out there and its very easy to find your way back to the camp sites.

Then he told me halfway through the ride he stopped and realized they were both completely shitfaced. None of us realized they were drunk out of their minds before taking off which is a huge problem as the terrain out there can be very dangerous
rtJTkcW.jpg

Combine that with pitch black darkness and two drunk guys you're just asking for someone to get hurt or worse. Of course they had lights but the way the dunes are shaped the shadows are very deceiving making night time riding dangerous

So I hopped into my dads sandrale with him and we were driving around out there for a good 3 hours looking for them. We were checking throughout the dunes, asking camps, doing pretty much anything we could think of.

We checked back at our camp to see if they found there way back and didn't see them there so we headed out back into the dunes. On our way out there we slammed directly into a witches eye

DsMrUSH.jpg

He tried turning at the last second to avoid it which only increased the impact and crammed the tire directly into the witches eye. We managed to get out of it and continued on.

10 minutes later we're going across a steep dune at a angle, a tire comes out of nowhere hitting the top of the sandrale taking a light out with it. I'm trying to figure out what the hell just happened, I look down and see a tireless control arm digging into the sand which sent the sandrale rolling down the dune.

At this point we were upside down hanging by our harnesses, I'm practically hyperventilating and my dad just looks over like nothing happened and says "well shit, I'm glad that tire didn't take your head along with it"

I went to find the run away tire while he was figuring out what to do. I came back and he had the tireless control arm propped up off the ground with a bunch of bunjey cords. He said we were going to ride it back with 3 tires. I thought he was crazy but not too long later we were driving back to camp with 3 tires. How he can figure out how to pull off shit like that I don't know but it was hilariously awesome.

We eventually got out of the dunes and took flat ground back to camp. When we got back I was still shaking from being scared half to death and had sand in places I didn't even know existed.

Not too long after we got back one of my dad's friends walks up even more shitfaced than before. We figured out they got separated and lost, they eventually ran into some other people and they helped bring them back to our camp. After they got back to our camp they went to the neighboring camp to party, every time we checked back at our camp while looking for them we were assuming they were still lost because they weren't there.

Was quite the night

In March of this year I was hosting a German exchange student by the name of Leo. Now back in those times I was in a Digital Electronics class, where we were supposed to be learning about circuit design and construction, types of logic, applications, etc. but it had devolved into us listening to the lecture then fucking about on the computers for the remaining hour.

Anyway, the first day back in class after Spring Break, we showed him the game Bombermine, which is basically a MMO version of Bomberman where you try to kill other human players rather than AI enemies. He became addicted almost instantly, and for a while, things were pleasant between the 9 members of the class.

Day 3 came. We played more Bombermine. That day, Leo wasn't doing very well, which happens, ya know. But instead of shrugging it off and maybe grumbling a little, he picked a different way of expressing it. Right after I successfully destroyed him, he shouted "Ah, FUCK!" near the top of his lungs.

You would not have believed the level of silence after that outburst. Everyone just turned and looked at Leo with a collective expression of "...Well then..."

Afterwards, the teacher expressed a desire that I should teach him exclamations that aren't as frowned upon in learning institutions.

Cool Stories that Aren't Really Stories :\

I'm in love. Or atleast in the definition of a high schooler xD

Friends like good ass.

All my friends to MMA or some sort of fighting style like that.

I do Boxing and Muay Thai (kick boxing) but I will start doing BJJ and MMA soon ( i am actaully not bad at figthing xD ). I am also very good at competative swimming.

I think I am a Jack of All Trades person. I find my self learning things very easily and getting good at them quickly, if I practice it regularly. That is why you see swimming as a sport and then you see me doing fighting or weights lol

Friends like weed lol

I actually don't play video games as much as you'd think of someone who hangs around the forums.

TRUE STORY
I remember a few years ago I was in class which some friends and my teacher got really made and she started counting " 1....2....3..." then I said "FOUR!" and she said "GET OUT!"And everyone laughed and it was pretty funny, even my teacher thought it was funny a few days later xD
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is really damn hot in Florida and it gets really got outside of school since pretty much the entire school isschool court yard is in the middle of school and it is like 70% of the school lol.

I'm in love.
I'm gunna break it to you right now, I don't think you are older than me(17) so I most definitely don't believe you know what love is yet. Having a crush and loving someone is two different things.

You also seem to have a different online personality every few weeks.

Edit: Also writing love related status' on a gaming forum where the person you love isn't on is counter-intuitive and semi-creepy.

It is hard to display personality on the internet since a few words can represent you in many different ways. I seem to mix up my online personality with my real life ways. You are very right about the love thing, but she is one of those that you knew in middle school and you've always had a thing with but you never really talked etc. etc. I know I don't know the true meaning of love but I really only go for those that seem like that they can keep a relationship and that they aren't total bitch.

I also forgot to qute this in the first post I like these posts kind of like this that you always make, the way you describe everything is kind of touching, i can see myself in your shoes
looking at whatever you see. You have a neat way of seeing things, your style in other words.

I don't know the way I write on forums is similar to Facebook or messaging.

It was at my fathers funeral in Fort Meyer and I was sitting in the pews at one of the two churches they have on site. Because of some bad veins in my nose, I used to get nosebleeds all the time, and the december weather was not on my side. So while I was sitting, I felt a sudden wetness in my nose and realized that I was bleeding again. I tried to stay seated, readjusting my body in an attempt to get some blood into the lower half of it after sitting for so long while trying not to attract attention. It didn't work. Finally noticed by my mother, she tells me to just go and try stopping the bleeding in one of the bathrooms. I quickly got up and tried to hurry, which does raise some eyebrows when the dead persons son suddenly stands up and tries hurrying away. I tried going at a steady pace to avoid disrupting the service too much, but because I hate wearing formal dress shoes and just substitute them out with black combat boots, one of my laces go caught on the pew in front of me and caused me to trip. People assumed I had fainted or something, we later found out that a few drops of blood got onto the flag that was atop my dads coffin because of it, but quickly saw me get up and run to the side of the church and down a flight of stairs. I shut myself into the bathroom, to try reducing the amount of noise while I stop the bleeding and clean up the blood that was currently on me. A few people followed me down, and upon coming in, did their best to try in helping stop the bleeding with the sink and what paper towels there were. After about 3 minutes of what looked like some weird cult ritual, the bleeding finally stopped and I was finally left on my own to wash my hands. The burial and reception afterwards were without incident.

Before this topic derails off course, I just share a story...

Miami Dolphins are 3-0

That means we are going to the super bowl!

Fins up!

They might as well start selling those Supe Bowl winner shirts that they give at the end of the Super Bowl game.
