Confusion

im just a little confused about something. Are you supposed to get a warning before you get muted or banned. i thought that an admin was supposed to say hey stop doing this before they mute or ban you. can someone clarify. because i have been muted without ever hearing someone say hey stop doing this or seeing hey stop doing this

Admins don't need to give out warnings on servers, most I understand do. Please make an appeal to get help
