Client Side Mute Problem

Anyone ever have a problem where client side mute is not working for someone? Myself and 3 other people tried muting someone locally on Hightower just now, yet we could still hear them. A couple of us tried reloading the game but it had no affect. The person wasn't just yelling into the mic or spamming songs or anything, so a server mute vote may not have passed.. they were just being annoying with excessive talking, voices, interacting with small children, etc.

There is a rather rare bug that makes a player immune to client mute for everyone. It's been around for quite awhile now if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not sure if it would work, but you can try typing in !ignore and then their name in chat since Skial runs a mod allowing you to client mute people through that command. I'm not sure if its a different type of mute on a technical level or if it utilizes the regular client mute but it would be worth a shot to try it out.

Thanks for that info; Ill try it next time. I just wasnt sure if this person was using some sort of exploit to prevent him from being muted or what.
