Hi gang I just wanted to try and find out why some Chicago servers particularly the Egypt+ server used to have a low ping (30ms) but is now (100ms). I thought maybe it was my ISP but then I check and it seems the IP has change (46.21.154.185:27015)? Egypt+ used to have another IP but I forget what it was.

I also took a look at another Chicago server Dustbowl+ (67.202.71.65:27015) and I ping sub 30ms to it. was the Egypt+ Chicago server ever on the IP 67.*.*.*?

So in short it looks like all Chicago servers on the IP range of 46.*.*.* ping 100+ms and the Chigacgo servers on the 67.*.*.* range ping sub 30.

The only reason I as is because Egypt is my favourite map and it would be nice if it could be put back on the old IP :)

hello guys , i'm supporting you Braveheart , i can't have fun now with this new IP.
i tried a lot of stuffs to decrease my ping , but i'm still lagging.
I'm seriously thinking about leaving this server if i'm lagging again :/
Maybe we are only 2 players who are complaining , but a lot of ppl are lagging in the server.
If you are caring about your players , especially your regular players , Please Do Something ! :p

i can understand why you have high ping because you're from europe.
but honestly as someone who lives in canada i've yet to see a difference in my ping from whenever the ip swapped
 
the problem is before i wasn't lagging , now i'm lagging a lot , and most of regular players too :/
Please do something :/

I'm just a regular player who is trying to have fun in your servers ... :/
 
I don't think you ever had 30 ping to Chicago Egypt because you are in Europe.

The ping from the UK to the US east coast is a minimum of 60 ping.

I would try Egypt+ EU.

when i'm testing my ping connection , my ping is 21
but the problem is not from me because as you can see , i'm not the only one complaining :/
 
The program shows that your router is lagging

The ping to your router should be around 0. Here it says the ping to your router is on average 259 and was as bad as 673.

hello hello, i'm another regular on the your egypt+ chicago server and had always had good ping (67-72 i'm based in LA). however, the last three or four times i joined your server (within the past 3-4 days) it has been overly choppy and laggy to the point where i can't play the game in certain situations (e.x. too many players together increases 'choppyness'). i understand that other regulars have simular problems and would like for you admins to look into it. we really enjoy playing on your server and would hate to migrate to another.

i reseted my router and i'm not lagging.
i'll tell you if i'm lagging or not when the server is full
( i'm lagging a lot only when the server is full )

Please use WinMTR when you are lagging.

The program proved your router was lagging.

If you do not believe me even with proof, I cannot help you.
