So I got on TF2 today since last summer to play on my favorite server, only to learn that it was disabled due to not enough players regularly going on it I would like to see if I may get this server back. If you support this, please post. I had very good memories playing on Mountain Lab NY due to the regulars generally were cool people and one of my favorite maps. I feel if we can get enough people to post, we can bring back (IMO) on of the greatest Skial servers.

I almost play mountain lab exclusively and i really would like to have another one. Mtn lab NY is the reason I met ruelel faron and all of you and is my favorite server. I still stay in touch with most of them and miggt be able to get them back if we have our server back for a few days without it being changed again.


We don't need these many dustbowls.

But theres always a need for more dustbowl
 
We had already petitioned for it back after it was changed to frontier (which became completely desolate because frontier sucks) it got changed back we populated it for a couple of days and during the morning (6a-2pm) it was dead and got changed into another dustbowl. I'd love to have it back since its community was better (alot of hate going around the mountainlabs TX server lately)

Mittens telling the people that played the NY labs to play on TX is pointless when theres no option to play on anything but TX. Most of the NY regs didnt want to go to the TX server because of its community and those who did want to continue playing the map were funneled into it.

I still talk with the original regs, they made a new server altogether after NY got disbanded, Mtn Lab texas is cancerious.

Was alright with the original reasoning back when it happened and can continue to agree, during the summer it was awesome. Maybe we'll get the Labs NY back in summer when it can be populated alot.

95% of S.I.B. is not too far from the NY area. We already fill Mountainlab TX on a regular basis, a NY server back would make it easier.
 
We should just give it another chance. If it doesn't work then get rid of it again. But from what people are saying bringing it back would bring back a lot of traffic.

95% of an 18 person group isn't going to keep a server full all the time.
 
Believe it or not, the SIBs have friends, and friends like to play with friends, not all the friends have SIB tags.

Most times when I play on the server ~30% of the server is on my friends list, and I don't add many people anymore. It used to be around 60-70% outa 24 people constantly.

And we seed the Moutain labs when its not full. most of my 16 days are on Mountain Lab.
 
Just because when you play you all play together doesn't mean the server will be full the other 22 hours of the day...

i'm currently playing tomb raider since it just came out others are at school/on their way home from work or the likes. Also even when there's only 1-2 of us there its usually full.

Are all the servers full 24 hours a day? ive come online to play and theres only maybe 1-2 skial servers on my list that dont have bots

And after my thread on returning it to Mtn Lab NY once it was removed to a barren Frontier, Bottiger decided to change it to Dustbowl after 3 days.
