Somewhat Threatening Sniper
It has come to my realization that on the Jailbreak server in Skial, Hat Day (in any form) is banned. I realize that this may be taken by some as a form of "favoritism", but being a game based on the opinions of the entire server as a whole, it would be fair to give it inclusion in the game. Being a user of other jailbreak servers in the past, on other well known jailbreak servers (intox, TheOutpost, etc), Hat Day has been used and is known to be a fair, effective, and very fun part of the game. These are just my thoughts, but this may serve as a public petition to bring Hat Day back.

You can play opinionated games (hat day, joke day) as long as you don't kill the prisoners if they lose.
 
How about opinionated games becoming based on the built-in maps' voting feature? ("Joke/hat is cool" vote, for instance)

"Only kill based on the outcome of the vote" sounds like an idea.

Hat day is an unfair judgement towards players and f2ps.It is the right thing to ban it and in all my time playing in jailbreak ever since it's ban,i haven't heard of a single complaint until now and i have been in a lot of situations in which hat day was used unfairly and received a lot of complaints from those who agrees.
 
-1. You should be able to win by completing orders, not by wearing a bills hat.

Hat day used to not be done very often, but then users started doing it more often and sometimes we would end up doing it round after round. Several times have I seen obvious favoritism and that's not really fair to the other players who bothered to obey orders until that point. It got out of control and while I would like it back, I would not miss it if it was gone.
 
Well, it doesn't have to be hat day. There are other forms that require skill instead of wealth (joke, american idol, salty spitoon, etc) that would be F2P friendly. Just because Hat Day is banned doesn't mean other days have to be.

The problem is that people can use any opinionated game to either give their friends lr or kill everyone that they have beef with. Plus the added reports, the necessary evidence to prove freekill, and the fact that many players don't have mics to do American Idol with (that's despite my dislike of mic spam anyways). I remember salty spittoon and it never made any sense to me to kill people based on whether or not they've watched a certain episode of a tv show.
 
There is no skill in opinionated games, if you want a skilled game, do obby as a heavy, or play the actual game on a non-jailbreak/custom server.
 
pls don't bring back hat day, I cried every time someone said my hat was ugly. I'm not kidding.
