Is there a way to block a certain person on the forums so that they can't message you or comment on your thread or something? It would be great if someone could help me out with this.

How ever, the ignore button only makes it to where you can't see there posts. They can still post, they can still see your posts, but you can't see theirs.

You can choose to ignore a member (go to your forum profile, click "People You Ignore", and enter a new member), but I am not sure that prevents them from commenting on a thread (since that would somewhat violate the basis of a "forum").

Hyper-super-ninja'd.

It would be bogus for any user to be able to limit who replies to their threads, though. The ignore function works as it should. Nothing more is needed.

Dat ninja.

I'm looking for a way to completely block someone so that they can't see me and I can't see them. I'm out of options.

This is a public forum. By posting here, you're presenting your posts to the public. Even the private sections are relatively easy to access. If you don't want someone seeing your posts, don't post them to begin with.

Unfortunately, that's not going to happen because I'm on the forums on the servers all the time. There has to be some way.
Are people miles away from you behind a monitor typing ill-will really that bothersome to you?

A little bit. Tried talking to them about it but that didn't work so I'm looking for other options.

I mean, technically, if someone is being consistently abusive to you, the last resort would to be to complain to the forum admins.

However, I would suggest maybe logging out... taking a few days... go for a walk... stay off of the boards. This is the internet - a rough and syphilitic mistress full of pain and misery.

TLDR; If you ignore the problem, maybe it will go away.

TLDR^2; Man up.

Usually I play guitar or listen to music and that helps. Hopefully, it ends soon because it's starting to get pretty annoying.
