Invalid Banned for using proxy

I use a program called Expat Shield which lets me watch BBC iplayer, as it's region locked to the UK. Since I live in Greece I use this program to watch English tv shows. I'd mistakenly left it on after watching a show, booted up TF2 and joined a game on a Skial server and as a result have been banned. Can anything be done about this?

The ban only lasts 10 minutes and is already expired.
