Banned for asking to trade - please remove

The kitten that lost his way is not the guy we are talking about here. I had Ruelel unban him because the Sourcebans not letting me log in. (Roman if you're reading then please fix it thanks)
 
You all HAVE to be kidding me...
Look at that log again - it's maybe 20 times over the span of 4 HOURS - if you think that's spam you're out of your mind.

I wasn't bothering ANYONE
 
I have an obnoxious macro as well, however I only hit mine once every 10-15 mins...your spam was literally once every minute quite a few times - way too much..not sure it merited a ban so much as a warning, but it still merited something.
 
disagree, nobody had a problem with it except doctor who, and as I stated, several trades were made that were benefitting players in the server. If more than 1 person had a problem with it, I would have eased off

There was this one time on upward where 3 people were telegriefing. An engi and two FaN scouts on the opposing team. The engi would taunt everytime someone would die. The teams stopped playing. A couple of admins came on, told them to stop. They said (and I can pretty much quote this because I wtf'd so hard) "Nobody has a problem with it, I don't need to get banned."

They got banned.

Hey! Same thing happened yesterday but with spy's and not scouts.

Trade messages on a non trader server is never mentioned in the rules so I'm guessing it's okay.

Besides 2 pages doesn't mean anything, you need to look at time between messages. That 2 pages of "spam" is over several days. Some messages are 30 seconds apart, others several minutes. It might be better if we have some kind of guidelines for what constitutes spam but ultimately, if he was annoying everyone, why wasn't he just votemuted? It's so damn easy to pass and its the simplest way to handle this kind of situation since it some what falls into a gray area.
 
This issure is over. His ban is finished and it's been worked out that you aren't allowed to constantly trade during rounds on non trade servers, ESPECIALLY after he's been told where the trade server is.

Then maybe we should get that listed on the rules? You know, so that we don't have to guess at what the rules are.

Besides, you didn't ban him for trading... you don't know when he was actively trading, just spamming about a trade so I think we still need some kind of guideline on what we consider spamming.
 
It obviously hasn't and I'm not trying to start drama but we really should have some clarity. Zebra says its fine as long as you aren't spamming and actually playing most of the time, Doctor says you shouldn't be trading during rounds. If this is going to be something that we ban for instead of simply muting, we should really make the players on Skial aware by having a written rule.
 
I'm pretty sure I've heard Zebra or someone say that trading during rounds (maybe it was Creepingdeath) is prohibited, but yes, if it's not a rule, then excessive trading during a round should be prohibited.

And I second what Mohawk said.
