Made an account here just to post this, so sorry if it has the incorrect format or anything like that.

46.21.154.179:27015 Server it happened on (Portal Trade Server)

This happened at approximately 2:30 A.M. Central. This person advertised a Strange Festive Medi Gun for 3.5 keys, I of course started a trade. The person then put in the item as well as a rocket launcher(I think as a distraction). When I said I only wanted the medi gun, he took both down and then added back a Strange Medi Gun. I pointed this out, and he almost instantly backed out of the trade and left the server. I didn't have time to take screencaps (he left too quickly), but I did run into another person on a different server that was scammed out of 8 Refined in the exact same way by this person. His Steam name is The Dude(I put him on my friends list so we could catch this guy).

It really pissed me off that this person was being such a scumbag, so I made it my mission to get this guy for trying to scam me and scamming at least one other person.

Yes and No. I don't have screenshots, but I did meet someone that did get scammed who will back me up. His name is The
Dude. I'll ask him about posting here once he's on again. Anybody that was on at that time would have seen him advertising for that price, and that he left there as soon as I called him out. Something else I found suspicous is how often and how rapidly he's been changing his name. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198056427373/namehistory I tried changing my name and submitting a trade request to take some screencaps, but forgot to change my profile pic and I think he recognized me.

Sorry if I've wasted your time by not having solid proof, I just didn't want him trying, or God forbid suceeding, at scamming others.
