if I put a space in the URL it might not redirect you to the correct link or the link may appear grey that can't be clicked.. This is my first time doing this ban appeal.
SMAC Crit Violation has nothing to do with the amount of crits a player gets.
SMAC CV almost always detects and intervenes when the player starts interacting with the server, and there is almost to totally no chance on false positives.
But I disagree about "SMAC Crit Violation has nothing to do with the amount of crits a player gets" and "almost or totally no chance on false positives".
what's this plugin looking for in a game, of course the crits that a player makes or gets, if the plugin sense a player getting crits more than unusual, it will mark that player a crit violation then how it's nothing to do with the amount of crits a player gets. SMAC can ban or get false positive even with it's own plugins according to the SMAC developer website itself. I can't find a forum there about the SMAC CV maybe it's just a new plugin or feature.. SMAC can even ban a lagging player. Which has nothing to do with a cheat or hack. Anyway, I have one more question, I noticed about ban, I tried to browse the banlist and see there is a lot of players that get banned because of New Steam ID linked to a IP address that has been ban before? IP address are auto lease by the internet service provider once every 2 weeks or sometimes 6 months before it refresh.. Permanent ban means that their IP's are saved on your banlist until skial is up and running.. So maybe a player which is not even using a cheat can be banned if the provider lease him or her an IP address which is on your record of auto ban?
No, it doesn't work that way but I'm not going to reveal it either.
