Ban Appeal

  • If you are not the person that was banned/muted, you are only allowed to post evidence. Trash talk is unnecessary.

Ohai. I was banned for a gay porn spray. Porn sprays arent banned to the best of my knowledge and research.

Unless im wrong about porn sprays being banned, this is just homophobic modding.

I know it's only for a day, but i'd like to be unbanned if im right about porn sprays being allowed.
If porn sprays are allowed, but gay porn sprays are not, it wont be nessisary to unban me.

Thanks for all your hard work. If im right about this being a case of homophobic modding, i hope you'll consider the admin concerned as unsuitable for the position.
 
I don't see anything that says about your spray, the ban just says "disruption", I'm sure Faron will have something to say.
 
If I'm not mistaken, all sprays are allowed, but if an admin asks you to stop, he/she can temporarily ban you for not doing so. They usually only do so if the spray is particularly disturbing. Are you sure an admin wasn't asking you to stop spraying it?

porn is porn as long as the one in the spray is 18+ it's fine. if it's a "disruption" to someone they can just disable sprays or spray a moustache over the spot they dont wanna see
 
Yes, i saw that it said 'disruption' too. TBH i cant help but think thats Faron8 not wanting to cite 'gay porn spray' as a reason. Faron8 did not ask me to stop or remove the spray (not sure he could have since it was a web-ban?)

Edit: It wasnt even a real pic (naturo i think) but definitely 18+
 
If a good deal of the server complains about the spray we will usually ask the sprayer to remove it and change the spray. If that player refuses I'll usually kick that player. If they come back and continue then I'll dole out a ban.

I understand the reason for the ban is misleading.

I did ask you to remove it. I know a porn spray or any spray thats not illegal is allowed, but its was disrupting everyone in the server.

Yes Faron8 Asked you Gov to stop and Faron was notified but alot of people for him to do something...Besides it was disrupting the server and constant spray overs purposely and asking did not help, you continued to do it...Also have the server wanted him to stop but he just wouldn't...You deserved the ban.
 
Gov you kept blaming and pointing fingers to the problem as just homophobic people its not its disrupting and most people just found it offensive its not just that its a gay spray its that people are trying to play the game and they dont want to see it. We told you to spray it where people couldnt see it and we wouldnt have a problem with that and the poeple on server agreed...But as more people kept spraying over your spray you would just repeatdly do it till everyone was complaining about it...
 
Faron8 has been enforcing the rules as properly as they need to be on the server i havnt seen him do one thing wrong...Stop pursuading this even to try to take away faron's powers cause he deserves them he does a good job and he on daily
 
I will say this.
Faron is a good admin and is completely fit for the job. He and his mighty toaster have helped many good people. You brought this upon yourself, so don't say that the person at fault is the admin who banned you after kindly asking you to stop
 
There was no need for a Ban Appeal you knew what you did was wrong and you kept doing it...Now your on here pledging as though Faron made a mistake and trying to get his Admin power took away. Gtfo.
 
The Patriot, im aware you and perhaps 2 more were complaining, but im afraid i didnt notice Faron8 trying to notify me - if it was by mic, i had no sound. I was reading and writing in the chat so i think i'd have noticed it there. Nor did Faron8 trade me or send a server message to me.

I dont think re-spraying an allowed spray, when it has been covered by those that dont want to see it, is disruptive. I think covering up an allowed spray, for simple homophobia, is more disruptive.
Id like to think it was something other than this but there are dozens of explicit heterosexual porn sprays and there is never a complaint or rush to spray-over those.

I seriously doubt there were more than 5 people who had any objection. At least 1 person there also liked seeing it. Claiming half the server wanted me to remove it is bald faced exaggeration im afraid.

I can understand that, but i imagine such complaints would have to be based on the image being genuinely and universally offensive, not simply something you dislike or disagree with.

in his defense, there's no rule against gay pornography; he just didn't catch (or acts like he didn't) the warning from Faron. i also don't see this guy trying to get Faron's moderator removed.
 
I think your implications of homophobic modding have made the entire case irrelevant.

There's a reason a lot of places don't allow appeals for one-day bans. Just chill out on another server or take a break until tomorrow, it's not a big deal.

I'm really not trying to persuade anyone to take Faron8's privilages away.

What i said was, and i stick by, (and i hope you agree) is that if this ban or any ban was the result of homophobic attitudes then that person should be considered unsuitable for the admin position - i don't imagine that's controvertial.

I think your implications of homophobic modding have made the entire case irrelevant.

Ok.. I dont understand why? That's the only reason i had and TBH, really, still have.
 
And its not about homophobic attitudes faron told u waht it was about "disruption".. and now your trying to pin it on as homophobic.
