If you don't love space, you have no heart. Because I am a brilliant, I decided to make a thread about awesome space photos, wooooaaaah. The rule: Be awesome! Haha, nah, just kidding, you'll never reach up to my level. Anyway, here's two of my favorite photos:
The "light" you see on top of the planet (or moon, rather) is actually water vapor shooting up into space from the moon's geysers.
But here's my absolute favorite:
The Eagle Nebula is just magnificent to look at. Not super magnificent if you just see the picture, but the fact that our solar system is as big as that little toe on the bottom left of the gas cloud in comparison is an incomprahendable thought.
"The tower of gas that can be seen coming off the nebula is approximately 9.5 light-years or about 90 trillion kilometers high."
Amazing, isn't it?
But here's my absolute favorite:
