Are sprays ever going to be re-enabled?

I'm gonna email Valve to ask about whether or not they're gonna fix the exploit.
can't wait for that holiday-sized update that will surely fix everything!
Hope they never get re-enabled, I don't wanna see gaping buttholes on the walls when I am gaming >~> yuck!
Honestly don't miss sprays. Even if they miraculously fix them, I'd rather they stay disabled.
I'll probably be dead before valve ever releases its source. Meanwhile at least this community is doing everything it can to bridge the ongoing issues with them
I have no expectation of them ever coming back. Besides people did spray some nasty content on the walls back in the day anyway
Likely not, bottiger always thought sprays were a headache to moderate, which to be fair they were. And they aren't significant enough to re enable even if the exploit gets fixed for various of reasons
Nowadays people don't have them enabled on default and I imagine not a lot of players would even know that they can be enabled so having them would be even less fruitful compared to pre patch
Then you would have to deal with people spraying severely distressing images such as gore and animal abuse, extreme porn etc. Not to even mention all the CP, and then staff would be faced with the task of looking into some obscure anime characters someone had a NSFW spray off of, and to determine if they look like minors or are canonically minors to ban the player
Personally, I think sprays were fun to have when they remained in good taste, but we can't have nice things and I don't look forward to seeing another report of a spray with a decomposing dead baby in it which was by far the worst one I've seen
I had a different opinion year ago but now I think they should not be enabled again

I am going to miss the distraction sprays, I remember when I used to play on 2fort sometimes someone would spray an image of a Level 2 Sentry that appears to move or an image of a crouched Sniper that is scoped in. It was hilarious to see those and admittedly it sometimes fooled me, especially the Sniper one I mentioned
Tbh, as much as I miss spraying, I get where you're coming from. Wouldn't even want to see Reports filling up with Timmy's first hentai 24 fucking 7
