Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
Hi, it states that my account was banned from logging into a banned IP.
I share this computer with my roommate and brother (two different people) and am definitely the more avid tf2 player out of the 3 of us.

I noticed my account had been banned but really didn't investigate until this point. After confronting and asking them about what the deal was with skial.com my brother told me he used an aimbot from this computer. I've never used an aimbot or any form of third-party program to cheat and feel that a total IP ban is unnessicary.

Please unban my IP so I can continue to enjoy your servers. It will NEVER happen again from this computer guaranteed.

Regards,

I am sorry to inform you that we can not unban your IP due to the risk of letting your brother back aswell who already proved to be a threat by hacking on our servers.
Since we can not let him back that unfortunatly also means we can't let you back either.
It seems that you fell victim to your brother. You would be best to advice him to not use these hacks on other places or you soon wont have any places to connect to.

Would it be reasonable to unban my account but not my IP in hopes I get a new device sometime?

It's a joint thing; we're trying to eliminate hackers on our servers. Your IP isn't getting unbanned because your brother could use it; your account isn't getting unbanned because we have to treat every computer on your network as the same person. For an explanation, just search "brother" in the Appeals section; everybody has "a brother" who hacks, "but it will never happened again."
