Hey mods, I'd like to appeal my ban from yesterday, which was for using an NSFW spray. I had kept the spray selected accidentally after goofing around in a private server with my friends. I'm not totally sure on what Skial's policy is on giving lenience to these types of violations, as my ban message was pretty non-descript, but from my own searching on the appeals board you guys usually let people off if they change their spray. If it means anything, I've changed it back to my previous spray, which I have linked in this post.

I've had a lot of fun on Skial's servers over the years; forgiving this violation would mean a lot to me!

You were caught cheating by our anti-cheat system. Skial has a zero tolerance policy about cheating. You'll have to play on other servers from now on.
 
Well, this is embarrassing, to say the least. I sent the wrong link in when I made my appeal...
However, I'm looking through the banlist and I'm unable to see my name. I definitely clicked on it when I submitted this appeal, so I have no clue what happened.
Did my name get pruned from the list recently, or did the ban length change? I apologize for the confusion.
 
your linked steamid isn't banned and has never played on our servers. what server can't you join? what's your steam profile?

My steam profile ID is 76561199078888338 (I can't post links right now as this is a new account). I'm not quite sure what's going on but if there was a problem in logging the ban I can just wait it out, It's not a problem.

your account isn't banned on our servers. we don't even have any stats logged for it because it has never joined, so you might be joining a server that isn't skial or confusing some other error for a ban. what server are you trying to join?
 
Thank you Xantam, I've gone ahead and linked them.
I've tried most of the Skial servers that are close to me (namely both of the 2fort servers as well as the dustbowl server, I've double checked to ensure that they are official servers).

Attempting to join any of these servers yields a ban message stating "You have been banned by this server, check *insert sourcebans link here* for more info".

Interesting, can you DM me the sourcebans link it gives you as I understand you won't be able to post links?
