Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:

this is ridiculous, another month ???
i did not say anything in a racist manner
original comm block was for 1440 mins

1. users change there name to my name and impersonate
2. site voting system is Democratic and should be aloud to be used without consequences, unless abused
3. violations should be accompanied by proof​

Regular comm blocks are 1440 mins, that's true but that's for the first offense. On skial, your punishment length changes until it reaches a month, then it keeps going through a month unless we deem you've done too many offenses for a permanent ban

1. First Offense: 1 Day
2. Second Offense: 3 Days
3. Third Offense: 1 Week
4. Fourth Offense and so on: 1 month
5. If the player has deem him/herself to be a constant rule breaker: Permanent

It is open to the public for anyone to use and you are indeed correct, the only time you receive a punishment is when it is abused. What dictates abuse? Calling a vote on someone to silence/ban/slay when they haven't done anything against the rules or against what the initial vote was called for. If you're having trouble with someone, you have the right to client mute and vote report them, not to abuse the vote menu.

I'm gonna bet Munch has proof as it doesn't seem you've shown an example of Racism in your chat log.

Regardless of all of this, @Munch holds the stand point of this appeal.

You were having an argument with two kids you thought were Chinese and began mocking them with a highly offensive Chinese accent. You did this twice within a period of a few minutes. I shouldn't have to explain why this is racist.

No one was impersonating you - I know your voice well enough by now.

I silenced you for 1 day and then checked your history and changed it to 1 month for the reasons Sarge explained.

I was under the impression that an Appeal process gave the player due process, up to and including comments from other players regarding situations such as these? Again, not trying to stir the pot, just confused as to how this appeal process works if not to give them a fair chance to be reviewed.

The length of your mute is based on your history. This is the reason for its length. This is the reason for the length of your previous mutings. These are Skial rules, not ones Sarge and I apply arbitrarily.

The people you were arguing with on this occasion were both silenced as well. And one of them was further IP banned for a week for dodging his silencing by using an alt. I apply the rules as they are written so you have nothing to complain about in this regard.

If you simply admitted what you did was wrong I would reduce your silencing. Instead, you have changed your name to FireAdmins... I heard the argument you were in and realize the two kids on this occasion were trying to antagonize you. That doesn't excuse what you did but I would take it into consideration. I know there are people on this server that like you and that like talking with you, but you have to abide by the rules like everyone else. Neither Sarge or I want to silence you more than we do anyone else, but we have to apply the rules evenly to everyone. I would encourage you to be careful about how you speak with people on the server, particularly if you are having an argument, and again check the rules.

Just putting my two cents in, I was not there for the event in question, however I do agree with Tracker on the above point. People do spam the votes alot and for not reason sometimes and if the vote comes out in Tracker's favor, he shouldn't be dinged for it in the long run. This doesn't mean that someone shouldn't be accountable for what they do or say. If there was racism going on, that person should be held accountable, but as far as tracker goes Ive never really heard him say anything overtly racist moreso than most other players on the server, or at least that is racist enough to be bannable.

I Know that this has been resolved, but i wanted to speak my peace as Tracker is a big reason I became a regular on the server. It always amusing when he is on. Additionally, him fucking my mother had been making her very happy lately, and I don't want to ruin that for her.

First, it's already been established that Tracker did violate the racism rule regardless of your personal opinions towards him/her. Second, if people are using the vote menu to punish people that aren't breaking the rules then they can muted for that if we see them in the act. People can come here and complain about vote abuse all day long but if these same people don't bother to give us something to act on like screenshots or a demo then there's nothing we can do about it.
