Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:

By mistake I started playing TF2 on a non-skial server because my favorite server was full. I did not realize that VPN was on but this non-skial server does not care about. After a while I changed to skial server but immediately I was banned permanently. There should be a another way banning players instead the hackers. I can not believe that this is should not an issue of many players.
Is there a known solution how to automatically prevent from starting TF2 when VPN is on or simply block connections via VPN e.g. showing a dialog?

Hello,

I do not know of a possibility to prevent opening TF2 with a VPN active, but you could just maybe think of it for yourself and turn it off before opening the game. ^_^
Anyhow, you are unbanned. Please make sure to not be banned again with a VPN reason because at some point you are responsible for it yourself and can't expect us to unban you everytime for your own fault.
This means the permanent ban could remain permanent!

It would be for the best to turn the VPN off whenever you have finished what you needed it for, so the problem connecting with it active doesn't even arise.
