Hello,

My name is sinister, and I have been banned from skial servers. Today, I got on a Hightower server, and it said I was banned.

The reason: LINKED: New STEAMID from banned IP 108.199.161.84

However, I looked up the IP, and it was linked to another player who has been banned for "SMAC 0.8.5.0: Crit/Spread Violation". Can I know what this means?

Anyway, I would like to be unbanned because I do not feel I deserve to be banned. If I have caused trouble on the servers, then I do deserve the ban. However, I haven't been very active lately. Is there any possibility of my ban being reversed? Even though my IP is supposed to be unique, but is linked to another ban? The more info. the better. Thanks

The IP address is unique to your household. It means someone in your house created a throwaway account that got flagged by SMAC and later VAC.
Your account "Sinister" has connected to Skial over 100 times in the last 10 days. Yesterday a brand new account connected from your IP address approximately 2 hours after the "Sinister" account disconnected and used a cheat and got banned, which banned your IP. About two and a half hours later the "Sinister" account tried to connect and got banned as well because the IP is flagged.

To be honest it looks like you made a throw-away alt to hack with, not knowing that we ban by IP. Now that you realize that your main is banned you are trying to appeal.

Is there any chance at an unban? I wouldn't make a throw-away account to use hacks on, because I know you ban by IP, because my friend was recently banned.
