Hi there.

You weren't banned by any human, you were banned by the bot that detects hacks, which is a lot more accurate than the human eye. The original ban for this was a few years ago.

I have never spectated you, never spoken to you and never met you. I don't see how it's "obvious" that you have never hacked.

I am going to deny this appeal but wish you all the best!
 
what?!!??! i got banned by a bot? not to be rude but if that is so you guys should fix your bot or don't use it at all and it doesn't matter that you haven't spectated me or spoken to me, it is in fact obvious that i haven't hacked because if i would have, wouldn't i be already vac banned?

We ban people on a daily basis who use blatant hacks or skins to gain an unfair advantage over other players. If VAC bans were as efficient as we'd all hope, there'd be no need for TF2 admins like myself. But unfortunately, that isn't the case, VAC bans are slow.

There are plenty of other communities out there you can play on, I hope you have fun!

As usual, I am more than happy for another admin to re-review this case.
 
okay last words from me, i'm sure VAC shouldn't take 3-4 years to ban someone for hacking, and even using such hacks as lmaobox that i see getting used daily by players that of course, get banned after their first 10 minutes of "enjoyment", and about that part of needing admins on community servers, i of course agree, they are needed for a fast ban, but i wasn't banned by an human admin so i don't see how that part was really relevant considering i was banned by a bot.

The paid version of lmaobox was undetected by VAC for a period of time. You could have easily stopped using it later on.

We have a plugin that bans people for spamming the lmaobox ad the exact same way the plugin does. You won't get banned for just saying lmaobox.

It did presumably ban people that weren't actually using lmaobox, but these people appealed right away. Since you waited 4 entire years to appeal this, it makes me think you were probably caught and decided not to bother with an appeal.
 
i didn't appeal because i was new to tf2, i didn't even know there was a forum for this server or even that this community existed, but you can speculate all you want, still wont make you right in my eyes, but of course you will think that i was hacking anyways.
