Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
In all honesty I have no clue why I got banned. The reason says I was logged in from a banned IP and at the time the ban was given out I was playing TF2 with my friends on a different server. When I saw I was banned I immediately changed my password on steam(I never gave out my password, and I run malwarebytes daily(paranoid))

and I still don't have much reason to believe my account was taken because this is the first time anything like this has ever happened.

Yeah that's why I am confused, idk who that is. he certainly doesn't have my account(malware bytes says im clean, and I have had 0 problems with any other server or game) Is there anything I can do about this?
 
This looks like two different people on first glance. No common friends, different games.

Nighthawk, have you recently returned to school?

(Also, do you happen to study math/statistics?)
 
I'm in high school, and no I'm still on summer break. (I don't know if you assumed I was in college but right now most of my classes are advanced Calculus and Physics)

The question was more is there anyones internet you are possibly sharing. If you were in a college it'd be easy enough to explain why you got linked IP banned if it wasn't warranted.
 
You connected through a proxy IP which had been banned because of this account hacking on that IP.

This caused your account to be banned when you joined a Skial server on the same IP.
 
If I was on a VPN or Proxy I could understand the ban, but I wasn't (When I searched for games it gave me servers near my actualy location, and everything still had my normal ~20ms)
Is there anything I can do to be unbanned? or prove I am not linked to Vokuul somehow?
 
I don't see how it would show you connecting from a different IP for no apparent reason.
 
.... I don't either(?) I am not banned as far as I know on any other server, I have no problems with any other games, I have no reason to believe anyone went on my account, network, or computer. Everything has unique passwords, no one has been over my house, None of my relatives play steam, Malwarebytes doesn't show I have malware or trojans, I'm not using proxies or VPNs.

I haven't ever used exploits on any game really, TF2 especially. I don't want to sound like a jerk or anything but are you saying I'm wrong about something? Because that wasn't really helpful. I just want a way to prove that I never used exploits and I figured that all of this would be enough. Sorry if I am being unclear or something
 
You are banned on TF2Newbs but that doesn't mean anything to me since Octo bans anyone for anything.

You are being perfectly clear, the question is why did your account connect from a banned IP?

I got banned on TF2Newbs for saying I didn't like bronies,so thank you haha

I really don't know. I'm really paranoid about this kind of stuff and Immediately changed my password on steam, the password for my email, the password for my network, and even changed my name on steam to something else. I actually have absolutely no clue, though I think it is very unlikely something like this would happen again if that has any significant meaning. I really do appreciate you for trying to help though

Yet he played on Skial from that account on 6-25-13

That shows last use and total connection time under that name, not how long the session for that day was.

You can clearly remember whether or not you were connected to a proxy two months ago? Why did you wait two months to contest this?
 
Laziness, I just played on LotusClan servers and stuff but it was annoying not being able join servers with my friends on skial, and recently today I tried to get on a skial server but I couldn't then I realized the ban was permanent and that's when I decided to actually try to fix this
 
Well, I mean if I get banned again I will accept it. I don't know what else to say, but I would like to just be unbanned. I don't know what else I can do because I am stumped. I really don't care for exploits and I rarely talk or chat. I appreciate everyone helping.
 
Well we can't tell you what you were doing on a proxy IP and if you can't figure it out either then I guess this appeal is declined.
 
Well, I wish I could either.
Thanks I guess, though I can't see the harm in giving me another chance but if I seem like a bad person then I guess good call.
 
You don't seem like anything other than someone who doesn't know why they use proxies.
