Hello,

I am sorry for what happened, since the console can't explain, at least from my end I'll explain what has happened. My friend came over today and told me to play some TF2, so I did and just pressed play multiplayer, so we joined a number of servers and switched between ourselves on the same account. Then he told me about some TF2 hack he found and convinced me to at least let him show me. So he created a new Steam Account and he showed me. I don't plan on using it or keeping it, but I never thought that a random Steam Account that he created would end up banning me from your servers.

I promise that I will never let anyone (including myself), download hacks. If I do then I'm an idiot.

Anyway, I take full responsibility on what my friend and I did. I once again promise never to do anything like it again, and I hope you give me a second chance.

You were automatically banned via the SMAC detection. We do not remove bans from those caught hacking.
 
Okay that's fine, I respect that, but a different account on the same IP was banned. I was not on my account hacking in any way. I joined on my account, later, to join and be banned in a second. The reason being the same IP was used. I think it's a fine idea to implement that, but I beg you to give me a chance. My IP and no one on my IP will be downloading anything illicit again. Same account or not.
 
I am sorry, but we have a strict policy on this. Downloading hacks has repercussions and I hope you can learn from this experience.
 
Okay, I understand. Considering the fact that TF2 is a game that's been around a long while, and will hopefully be around a lot longer, and even though I can't join the map Snakewater anymore due to the ban, will the ban be lifted in any amount of time? If not, could you please set it so it's lifted in for example 6 months plus?

You won't be able to join any of Skial servers, and like Bigshula said we don't lift SMAC bans.
 
Well darn, can I donate or something to get the ban, listed. I know you've made it clear it can't be lifted, but I'm just wondering.
 
No sir. I am locking this thread now due the fact that we explained our policy on this issue and your appeal was denied.
