All I did was light him on fire through the start gate, didn't kill him, just a small flame, he kills himdelf, a few seconds later I get a ban for griefing, I fail to see how this qualifies as grief. Yes, maybe if I had actually killed him, but I didn't I didn't even try, I was just messing around. It may have only been a day ban, but I still don't see how that is fair.​
 
Burning people through the gate is considered exploiting, since you aren't supposed to be able to hit people through the gate. It doesn't matter if you kill the person or not. An example of this being exploited could be weakening the enemy team through the gate just before the round starts and thus possibly disrupting the initial push.

Anywho, this isn't my ban so I can't make the decision. I'll leave that to @Khed.
 
It seemed like you were doing it on purpose, you kept flaming after setting half of the team on fire.
You didn't kill anyone because the others ran to the ressuply locker, I suicided to see who was doing it.
Even though you didn't kill anyone, setting people on fire through the gates is considered griefing and it's against the rules.
 
Half the team. Sure. I saw one person, I clicked for a second, I didn't even know that you could burn people through the gates on Upward. I'm sorry that I was exploiting, it won't happen again.
