Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
Greetings, I noticed I was permanently banned for: "New STEAMID from banned IP 63.142.161.8". However, my SteamID is many years old and that IP address appears to be for the company that runs BTGuard, a paid VPN service that I use (as I am actually in the U.S., not Canada, but BTGuard is). Normally, I log off of it before I play TF2, but I do occasionally forget to. By perusing your forums I saw that if I am banned for using a proxy server I can log off that proxy and wait ten minutes. However, I was permanently banned. By reading other appeals, I am guessing that you have been hacked by someone using this service. If you see fit to unban me, I will be more careful to not login to that service (or any proxy for that matter) before I play on your server. Otherwise, though I strongly assert that I am no hacker and never have hacked anything in my life, I do understand that you have no way of knowing that and you have a responsibility to protect your servers. As such, though I do find your Orange map with the crits and high jumping great fun, there will be no hard feelings either way. Blessings.​

My apologies, Cowboy Crow. I did not intend to confuse you with my flowery prose, but merely to ask the noble admins: "Might I have a response to my appeal?" Many thanks. :)
 
I have thoroughly researched the Proxy IP and the other accounts that have connected to it, other IP's that those accounts have connected from, etc. etc.

I don't believe that you are in any way related to the account that was originally banned from that IP address. So you have been unbanned.

If you ever connect to Skial from that Proxy IP address again you will automatically be re-banned, so make sure that you are only using your home IP address.
