Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
Hey,

I've been a semi-regular on Skial servers for a while now (a few years) without incident and I realized I was banned from Skial servers earlier today. However, I am not quite sure what the ban was for, as I was not using cheats, mods etc. and there was no public vote on the server.

If this can be clarified/resolved soon, that would be appreciated, thanks! I have not been previously warned or cautioned on any offenses so far.

your IP address was changed to one that was banned a week ago for hacking

Hey, I don't think I've ever hacked on TF2 (indeed if I did, shouldn't I have been banned by Steam/Valve itself?).
I did move to a new apartment recently for my internship, which has shared internet between various users. Perhaps that is the source of it? But I have never been implicated in any hacking, I will assure you.

Most likely, this is why you are banned from our servers...

Someone on that network hacked, we cannot let anyone from that network rejoin.

However, I myself did not hack. And again I had no control/knowledge over whether the strangers in the apartment. Let's say that you connect to a public network at school (for example) and let's say that someone at that school were to be banned for hacking. Then, anyone else who has connected to that network would also automatically be banned for hacking?

You are responsible for the internet connection you use no one else.

As for Public networks (Schools/Uni) these are unsecured networks and would of been used by hackers trying to avoid a ban, So when caught we can not take the risk that anyone on these ip address connects to skial again blight its users with hacks.
