Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:

Hey I tried to join a Skial trade server, and it gave me the message that I was banned. I didn't know why; I had and would never do anything wrong on a server. So I went to the link provided, and sure enough: Latest bans: Haylex, 7/21/13." Today. I looked at the console and apparently my IP is banned? I don't know what happened but I got banned for doing nothing wrong. I have over 1200 hours of TF2 gameplay, >50 Steam games, and a backpack worth 20 buds. I have a clean Sourcerep and no intention of ever doing anything to get me banned, but this is what happens.

Any help you can provide would be great, thanks!​

Basically you, or someone who shares your IP address was permanently banned. This generally happens because of hacking, or something equally serious. Questions like: what is your Steam profile (admins will definitely need that to actually help you, they need to see who you are), who do you share your internet with (if anyone) and similar things. Skial IP bans so that people can't hack, scam or break other rules on one profile and then switch to an alternate account to avoid the ban, effectively getting away with it. IP bans rarely seem to be overturned, so if I were you I would suggest being 100% honest from now on and tell them everything they ask. Honesty is your best bet with this from what I've seen, don't get angry or defensive.

Judging by the fact that this account has not been set up, and has a ban from another community

for the same reason. The account was most likely an alt made to test hacks.

We don't overturn smac bans without reason to believe it's a mistake, since the other account is an obvious alt your ban will not be overturned.
