Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:Hello guys.
I just tried to log on a Skial-Server and noticed that i have been banned.
Apparently the reason is "LINKED: New STEAMID from banned IP".
I was kind of shocked, since I've been using the same single Steam account for almost 12 years now. I never created or used any other account. Well, after that i checked my account/PC and noticed that my VPN (IPVanish) was still enabled. I rarely use a VPN. Though, sometimes i enabled it, mainly for privacy purposes, but also because my ISP periodically has issues with bad peering/routing to some locations wich can be bypassed by using a VPN.
This is the first time i actually forgot to turn it off, before playing a game online. Never happend before in all those years.
So i kindly ask you to lift that Ban and i assure you that i will not try to connect with a VPN again in the future.
