Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:

I was banned for griefing because I was killing 'friendlies'. This is TF2 not Grindr, how can someone be banned for playing the damn game? Get a grip skial. What's the point of putting servers up if you are banning people for kills?​

Not an admin, but here to tell you it was a Voteban, meaning the server voted to ban you using the voting system. It is only active for 30 minutes.
Next time this happens, try to snag some evidence of it. Friendly-ing and random votebanning are against the rules.

Not good enough. Take control of your servers or you're worthless. I'm banning you. All of your servers have been removed from my faves. Your proud boasts of being the best servers are bs if this is the best you can do to protect your regular, loyal users from the people who you admit are breaking your own rules. They control your servers, not you. Good bye.

While I agree that banning a player for killing friendly players is absolutely not okay, we do need some kind of evidence. If someone were to start vote-banning me for doing this, I'd immediately begin recording a demo, if not already recording for archiving purposes.

Unfortunately it is our of our control as Skial staff what the players do. We put votes (voteban, votekick, voteslay, mute, gag, silence etc) in place to allow players to moderate the servers in the absence of staff, we all have jobs and lives too. And it does arise where the system is abused and that is dealt with. As it so happens, we do not know who initiated the ban on you without digging the logs or you providing the evidence, we do not know the context to be 100% accurate and we have virtually no information to go off.

Players would be mad if we provided no system to self-moderate, and would be madder still if we took the system to self-moderate away after providing it.

This appeal is denied, it was only 30 minutes meaning it has expired already.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind users not to shitpost on appeals or reply to appeals they have no business being in.
