So, from my knowledge skial servers considers using a mic for more than five seconds while being obnoxious as mic spam. or atleast that's what the rule was last time I checked. Well I just got muted for 24 hours on Skial Us Trade for blowing a raspberry into the mic for less than 5 seconds. The message given to 5 players who protested the mute was this
"(ALL) ADMIN: He was using his microphone whilst making noises with his mouth constantly"
I hadn't even been making the noise for more than a second or two and was muted for "constant noise"
I would appreciate some help.

Also I have never ever been muted for a day, but for some reason I was muted for 3 days this time???​

Generally we will mute or ban for 1 day for offenses that do not require an immediate perma ban. We will then go back to your sourcebans page to confirm you don’t have prior offenses. If you do, we may raise the time, as we have stacking punishments.

Just wait, you brought this upon yourself so just wait. Skial admins were at their own discretion, not for your convenience. I'm going to lock this for now, @Luke will share his verdict soon and can unlock it when that time comes.

There's not a set definition of what length of time is and isn't considered spam.

You shouldn't be "blowing a raspberry into the mic" at all, this isn't what the microphone is for.
However you were indeed only blowing into your microphone for a few seconds, so I let it slide.
This then happened a few times more for a much longer period of time when people were advertising.

We increment the time based on prior punishments: 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month...
You've got a prior punishment from @Kael for "discrimination", so I set the length to 3 days.
I'm aware that your punishment was removed, however there's no appeal thread/note from Kael, so I didn't know if this punishment should be ignored.

I have contacted Kael, if he confirms that the punishment should be ignored I will reduce the time.
