Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
I was banned for "dodging" mute with a name tag.

Dodging: Avoiding punishments like gag/mute/ban by disconnecting or changing your name right before it happens.

How is using a name tag dodging a punishment? I am still gagged and muted, I am taking the punishment. If using name tags isnt allowed if youre muted then it would be pretty cool to be warned, or at least put it up in your rules. Also I don't know what the "New IP" ban is, I switched to my hotspot because my wifi was acting up, is that bannable too? Thanks!​
 
Changing your name to convey a message is a way of getting around a silence, effectively trying to dodge the punishment. And yes since you're banned the system will continue to blacklist whatever connection you use until the ban expires. When you change IP we unban the old one so the next person who gets assigned the IP isn't unfairly banned because of what someone else did before them. So yes that is accurate, new IP from banned STEAMID means we detected a banned account (STEAMID) trying to connect from a new IP address.

I didn’t change my name, I wanted to rename an item I had and did it? I was gagged and muted, if renaming items is against the rules while muted you should inform players of that.

Skials definition doesn’t cover that, if it does and you can get a month ban for it you should warn people or state it in your rules. Y’all have a great night!

It is 4 weeks, not 8. Maybe actually look into what is going on in the topic you're commenting on?
Punishments go up for every offense. 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month. So 2 previous punishments made the silence a week, dodging that silence made a month.

We are not going to sit here and list every possible example of breaking a rule. That is why we said 'avoiding punishments LIKE...' That means the rule is about avoiding punishments, everything after that all-important word LIKE means example(s) follow, not an exhaustive list.

“Dodging: Avoiding punishments like gag/mute/ban by disconnecting or changing your name right before it happens.” If we interpret this by the way it’s written I didn’t break a rule, the “like” is in there in reference to the types of punishments you could dodge, not the ways to break the rule.
 
Don't post in here unless you're an admin or providing evidence, and I've got news for you. White-knighting your buddy is not evidence.

Don't think I need to elaborate any further why using "name tags" like that counts as evading your punishment~
