Anywhom, on a more imperative matter, I work at an internet cafe, "Astoria Internet". I logged in today morning at work, before going on my shift on a computer hooked up to the network and​

*ta-da* banned!​

At first I thought I was tripping balls, I almost lost it.​

I mean, I know I suck in team fortress, (as I am still pretty new at the game) but I didn't think I would be bad enough to get banned :p​

Upon some research, I found out that a "romulusmark2020" invoked a CRIT violation, and got banned. Subsequently banning both my internet IP address at work, my account, and various other accounts, that merely accessed the computers to play TF2, as well as a usual that repealed the unfair ban ("Koine").​

​

I submit this appeal with the hopes of the IP address of my workplace unbanned, as well as my account itself ("I eat babies"). I believe the ban is unjustified as "Romulusmark2020" broke the rules, he deserves to be punished for it, that's how skial justice works, I presume, but not anyone else that honesty and openly plays team fortress 2.​

Just because "Koine" was unbanned doesn't mean that you will be. Each appeal is handled on a case-by-case basis.

I am not going to unban your account and I definitely won't unban your IP address. You have a brand new steam account, and you have a total playtime on Skial of 8 minutes.

This is not an alternative account.

This is an account caught between the cross fire between you guys and "romulusmark2020".
The reason why I brought up "koine" was to backup my case.


I dont play team fortress often, I don't play video games often, I balance my life between applying to colleges, high school, and work.
I just ask I be un-banned because I believe I was unfairly unbanned, as well as the IP being unfairly unbanned because ONE user decided to hack your servers.
This account is my primary, and for your information, only steam account I have. I don't want to make a secondary account just to play on your servers, I want to resume using my primary.

I only started playing TF2 like two months ago.
if this was an alternative account, I wouldn't put the effort into making a skial account and dealing with all the unnecessary steps of that, as well as this mock appeals process to defend myself.

We cannot verify one way or the other whether you are telling the truth or not. Many hackers make throwaway steam accounts since TF2 is free. They use internet cafes and proxies to avoid being banned on their home IP so that their main account is safe. You only have 7.5 hours of TF2 played total, and most alt accounts will have a very low amount of game time because hackers obviously won't be connected to most servers for a long time.

Either way, we have to do what we have to do to keep our servers free of hacking. If you got caught in the crossfire, that sucks, but again we don't like to take risks on situations like these.

Then what am I to do, delete my steam account, assign myself a new one, and reset the ip address of my internet cafe because ONE customer decided to hack?
I understand your point of view as per protecting your servers, but its not like I'm asking you guys to completely pardon everyone, I just want my account and IP address unbanned, and I honestly see no reason why it shouldnt be. I see why you believe my account could be alt, I don't play that much, okay. But the countermeasure of banning the IP after this scenario is absurd *IF* the hacker himself "romulusmark2020" is already banned.

And even if you had never played on our servers before, why are you fighting so hard to be unbanned? If you seriously logged into a Skial server for the very first time to find you are banned, most people move on to a different server.

I didn't know there were other servers out there, I am fairly new to this, all; chuckwagon.
i usually click "find game best for me"
but I was suggested to try out skial, my friend told me I couldn't play at team fortress 2 the same way again after trying your amazing servers.
The reason why i fight to be unbanned, is so I can have the ability to check out your servers.
But; this is going absolutely nowhere.
I guess at this point I guess I will reset my router and delete my account, or try to figure out how to get on another server, move on.
