Resolved Appeal Ban

Hello,

I was playing on the x3 crits and degroot server tonight, and I was perma-banned. They won't let me post links =/. The ban was on:

12-21-12 01:20

for {TRoLL} Halodos.​

The Console banned me because:

SMAC: ConVar cl_particles_show_bbox violation (bad query result)

and I don't really know what this means. I can't think of any reason why I was banned. I can't even think of how to cheat/hack using the huntsman, which was my primary weapon. Any help on how to get rid of this ban?

Some people said the new update is causing this. I'll remove the ban.

Oh that was you!?!? Sweet haha. It seems Bottiger took it down pretty quickly, but I may update my SM before playing again so I dont get perma-banned again.

Yeah.

So hopefully this should be fixed. I'm guessing it was removed as a convar and for SMAC was still trying to check for it.
