Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
i was engaged in a debate that most of you would probably classify as "racist" (actually, in my defense, the debate was already going when i joined the server and i just jumped right in). someone who disagreed with me and the other guy i was siding with called an admin in, and he muteblocked me for a day. in mild protest, i changed my name to 'silence your critics', and was immediately banned for a day (as verified by checking the ban list). a few minutes later, i refreshed the ban list, and it had changed to permanent for "mute dodging". the one day mute was also changed to one month (which obviously doesn't matter at this point as i'm permanently banned). no matter what you think of my views, you have to admit that this is unnecessarily harsh, and i'd appreciate if it was rethought. honestly, at this point i'm really not sold on skial servers, but i have some friends who play regularly on them and would like to continue playing with them.​
 
We use standard punishment lengths
  • 1 day - First offense
  • 3 days - Second offense
  • 1 week - Third offense
  • 1 month - Fourth offense
  • Permanent - Fifth offense

You were silenced 4 times, then after you were silenced you mute dodged which means you committed your 5th offense which is permanent

That is why I had to permanently ban you. It may seem harsh, but you've had 5 chances to learn the rules and to stop breaking them.

All of your silences are for racism which tells me you didn't learn to stop the first 4 times around which makes me suspect that I'd likely see you back here again if I gave you a 6th chance

fair enough. it's aggravating that thought crimes are banned, but i guess your server your rules. i will try to get my friends off the most leftist group of servers i've ever found and onto servers that aren't full of white people getting offended for black people
