Let me start by saying I frequent skial servers constantly. I always stay within server rules and I've never exploited, cheated, or even glitched; yet, I get banned from skial servers for 30mins because a group of people decided that they were going to take over the 2Fort server I was in and have a "friendly" area in the sewers where Red and Blu "aren't allowed to attack each other". Naturally I ignored this because I don't observe the random whims of players simply because they say so; rahter, I enjoy the game on my own terms provided I stay within the rules of the server.
To elaborate: there was at least 7-8+ people (Red and Blu alike) down in the sewers, I went down there and killed the enemies, slightly afterwards I was voted into a temp ban for "griefing" and I find it ridiculous that a bunch of heavies standing in the sewers, not contributing to their teams get to temp ban me for "griefing" simply because I didn't want to play the game the way THEY demanded me to.
I realize it's only 30mins and that the ban will probably be up by the time someone with any authority can read this, but I shouldn't have to worry about being banned (temp or perma) simply because I wanted to actually PLAY the game and not have the will of other players forced upon me.​
 
Yeah your ban is already expired. Next time people start a "friendly" party please report them and I or another admin will be happy to ban them.

Wait, can you also post appeals when you get votebanned here??
I thought this forum was merely for people who got banned for extended (read: a day or longer) periods of time by admins :S

If it's a troll voteban that you want to appeal, you are better off making a report of vote abuse. It's only a 30 minute window and reports seem to get dealt with faster.
 
Thanks for sorting things out for me, Mittens. I appreciate it. and thanks for the heads up everything. Hopefully "friendly" players can stay on their "friendly" servers now haha
