I have been unsuccessful in trying to convince my most of my friends to play, so I was wondering if anyone at Skial has this game. I really enjoy it, use it a break between studying/ homework. There are some entertaining videos on YouTube of game play as well, such as Birgirpall's:
Anyone play or consider buying it?

I've only played it around 4 hours. It's fun to play and the dialoge is hilarious, but I guess after I played the maps a few times I stopped playing.

Hm. Interested in playing sometime? There is much more you can do with a group... shield walls, arrow volleys, and covering for each others weaknesses... I've heard that at higher levels the game gets much more interesting. Hard game to get used to though.

Problem is the game isnt really fun unless youre competent at it. Its got a brutal learning curve. I play it here and there but yeah havent olayed much of it.

Yea, the learning curve is ridiculous. I think that may be one of the reasons I like the game though, even if I feel like I'm a noob when i come back to it after week long break. Dieing can be pretty fun too, as you can be killed in the most ridiculous ways.

My god.
I have never rage-quit a game as much as Chivalry.
My friend was obsessed with it, I played it shortly enough after it came out and people were raping me left and right.

Basically. Took me almost a month to get a positive kdr in free-for all mode as MAA. Now that I've gotten used to it its much more enjoyable.
Seems like no-one actually plays anymore, which is too bad....

Love the game. It's only major problem is the learning curve. Cause getting your ass handed to you over and over isn't very fun. And many people therefore quit before they can become decent and have fun. What I'd advise to any newcomer is to play duel mode. It's 1 v 1 and perfect to learn proper timing and stratagy. Regular mass-games can be a bit overwhelming for newcomers. Great fun once you learn how to competently slice heads though.
