Mildly Menacing Medic
Nowadays, I cant remember, but I think for a week this has been going on. Anyways, I seem to always have this annoying bug, usually most of the time, when I try to attempt to disconnect from a server or or change from a sevrer, my screen just freezes, back in the day, this usually happens every now and then and I could just simply press the power button on my computer and that'll fix the problem. Nowadays though, every time I try to press the power button, my screen just freezes and I have to reset my computer. Does anyone here got any suggestions on how to fix this?

When I disconnect/quit TF, my screen will freeze for a second, but I've never had to reset over it.
EDIT: I mean literally 2 seconds at the very most.

Um, no. Are you exaggerating on that? It takes a few seconds to get out. If it takes like 10 minutes, something is wrong.
hes playing tf2 on this that is what the problem is

Before anyone even asks anything else, what computer do you have, OP?
Ill ctrl+V the specs but I doubt its because of those, this bug never happened in my year of playing TF2 on steam
But my computer is almost 4 years old

I used to get a similar problem where if I'm connecting to a TF2 server, or booting up TF2, if I pressed any key on my keyboard or clicked my mouse, I'd force an hl2.exe crash. That hasn't happened in awhile though.

Probs just your old computer.

I had that problem too. It still freezes on me for no reason, but I'm playing from a laptop, so y'know. It's my own fault. I just changed my display mode to windowed. If TF2 freezes, I just wait it out, and if it's not back up in 30 seconds, I force kill hl2.exe.

I have the same problem, so does everyone else. Disconnect/exit: freeze. Ctrl alt delete: end process, Fixed
Nope. mine will maybe get stuck on the exit screen (when pressing 'disconnect') for 3 seconds max.
I havent got a clue why it could be happening to op, perhaps its something to do with available memory???
