Currently players can only bet on their own team. The blu team only ever has 1 player, and in effect most of the time nobody bets on blu, rendering all bets void.
Allowing reds to bet on blu would make the betting system more active and fun for players.
It could arguably incentivize some reds to throw by slaying or deliberately picking a harder minigame, but I view that as fair, and people betting red can account for it. Throwing != griefing, and griefing is already not allowed and pretty much impossible to do on most maps. When maps have issues with allowing griefing those get fixed quickly. So I view the risk of griefing as relatively small in comparison with the joy that betting on blu will bring the players who like betting.

Oh and also I forgot, to address griefing players can use votemenu to voteslay/ban/kick the player. Which is even more reason to think it won't be a great issue.

itz bad idea to be honestly, low counted players could do coins trading easily with that method which leads other issues it should stay only on team based so -1

It was removed on purpose because people were throwing.
I understand. But maybe that's part of the fun?
I understand it would be wrong if any one person could decide to throw and ruin the game for everyone. I.e. if throwing only needed one actor. But that's not how it works in most maps. In most maps, a person only can ruin the round by throwing if they're the last person and everyone else died before them. So in fact, if you bet on red as a red, if you play seriously, skillfully and don't throw, there's a good chance you will win, and nobody can really force you to lose.

Now suppose everyone else lost, and it's up to the last person. He can throw either way, with or without betting. But with bets, it just makes it so much more thrilling and exciting! Will they throw? Will they finish the round? Will they be killed by the hale? So much uncertainty, so thrilling and fun for everyone with stakes!

The only problem I can see is if throwing breaks people with stakes' expectations. But that can easily be fixed by adding a note in the betting prompt warning them that throwing might happen, so they are mentally prepared for it.

Anyway, I don't view possibility of throwing as a problem. In fact, I view it as a possibility of even more thrill and fun! I would be grateful if you could explain why you view it as a problem.
