Declined Allow ratings in the trade chat area.

NOTE: Only for this one part of the forum: http://www.skial.com/forums/trade-chat.27/ I dont see why we need ratings in any other part of the trading area (i.e. price checks, cash, etc.) but dont see how it hurts the trade chat part.

Basically, as said above, I dont see how turning ratings back on in the trade chat section would hurt the forum.

Why would i want an update just because you find a price check dumb?
 
Then discuss the trade. Your opinion is irrelevant, only your input matters.

It's so someone can "agree" on a price, or "disagree" if something is incorrect, and people will be able to see it immediately after reading that post.
 
Qui tacet consenti, if you Agree no reply is needed with the stated price
If you disagree merely saying you disagree is not helpful, stating what you think the proper price would be is the way to go, not making a meaningless ranking.
Besides, he says he doesn't want it for "price checks", but the principle holds the same regardless.
How is your opinion rating better then giving your real thoughtful input?

i don't see anything bad coming out of ratings in trade chat

It's just yet another place for rate spam then. I think it was available at one point and was taken away for people abusing it.
