I've been playing on '2fort(+) | LA | Fast' for a while and have observed a systemic use of "aimbots" in a variety of conditions. In the interest of fair play, I hope to quell this nonsense and maintain a positive and enjoyayble environment for others as well as myself.

As a side note, I've settled on my favorite class and loadout as a sniper/huntsman. I know it isn't popular to play as this and is often met with snide remarks but It's usually during this time I notice people turning on their "hacks" to overcome my style of play. I hope to catch people in the act.

I like to think some regulars have adopted me positively while others have resorted to other nefarious methods (eg: obvious aimbotting, trolling, and downright profane/racist remarks which I've usually ignored. By allowing me (limited) admin rights, I hope to deal with this on a more active scale for the interest of the players and community.

Instead of ignoring racist remarks and other rule breakers, why haven't you reported them or called an admin? Also, being profane or trolling in chat is not against the rules as long as the player isn't being racist, spamming, or physically halting the progress of their team on an objective server.

It doesn't? Even when you have to stop to type out a response?

You're right I should have reported but I am under the impression these reports usually go unnoticed.

Here you can see your hours and most played servers. Also, "400ish" is a tiny bit off considering here it says you have over 1200 hours.

I have never seen a report here go unnoticed.

It seems as if you don't know much about how thing work here, you should probably do a bit more "research" before applying next time.

I don't know anybody who can type in chat without stopping in-game. If a player is being racist or is halting their team, record a demo and make a report on the forums of an admin isn't able to immediately come check it out on the server

You didn't check the report forum, did you? Reports, especially racism get handled in minutes (they're really easy to deal with in chat or in server)

You're looking at the number of players currently connected to all vanilla servers, if you click on your name which is highlighted in blue on the same day it will show your actual hours which is well over "400ish"

For the time being, I think you need a better understanding of Skial's rules, how to deal with people who enforce them and how to get around the site. Feel free to apply again once this is met =)
 
+0 for now, he has enough hours and his chat does not seem all that bad. He seems like a peaceful player and honestly, we need more admins like that who are at peace and can teach others peace. In my honest humble opinion, you need to get familiar around how reports works, what admins do, and just be more hyperaware on what goes around in game. I know you can do it.. it just takes training and determination, because without those things, what does it say about us?

Just improve more, and be yourself and others will see that great cause and once your ready, apply. There is a reason why the thread is marked "improve" and I think you can do it.

Hello RMsniper, people have the right to comment on already marked app to further help the applicant for his future app or some additional comments about his current app. If it does not need to be commented on, then it should be locked. Otherwise I'm just trying to help him with his current app and some tips for his future app so he has a better chance.

We can talk about this further in unmod if you would like, otherwise I was just trying to help him in regards to his app.
