I'll be honest with you I deleted that group before I even thought about getting back into TF2 because I wasn't even playing it anymore. I stopped playing TF2 and started streaming games on twitch and during the past year I also deleted the group because I felt like it wasn't needed anymore because I didn't play TF2 at the time because I was so burnt out from it and wanted to play other games.
Honestly I wish I could tell you when I went ahead and deleted the group. Heck I even checked the wayback machine but only found a page from 2014 for the group but I know I deleted it at least a couple months ago. If I had to guess sometime in June or July and I didn't have any plans to even come back to TF2 I was even debating if I should try and sell my backpack because I wasn't playing. The primary use for the group was to post announcements for my YouTube videos that I was making (even then it didnt do much for views). Even then I hardly see what having a steam group has to do about the ability of an admin doing their job. It's not like I let people get away with doing things just because they broke the rules and I was friends with them or even unbanning people who got banned by another admin just because they did something wrong.
Edit: And by "fan club" I just thought you meant the people that I'd regularly play with as I usually played with the same almost 10+ people on a day to day basis for about 2 years.
