Nope, I never thought of applying until something happened on Dustbowl+ EU tonight (see below)​
How do you ban your own SteamID?:

Any other reason you should be admin:
First of all, I have donated previously last year and then started again this year. Skial servers are the only ones I play on, I even got my sister and dad to donate to Skial too:

I hadn't previously been able to play much TF2 because I had a sucky PC, however I have a shiny new iMac (judge me if you wish :wink:) from which I can play.

To be totally honest, I never thought of applying to admin until I was playing on the Dustbowl+ EU TF2 Server tonight, a teleport griefer was ruining the game by trapping players in the spawn in the blu base on stage 3. We tried vote banning him but because the threshold is 90% we didn't manage to, but he was actually ruining the game as we couldn't exit the base! (he had planted teles on both sets of stairs).

I am a pretty chill person, I know a lot of the regulars on Dustbowl+ and have a few on my friends list. It turns out one even lives just 5 minutes drive from me hah!

Noob question incoming...How much exactly has your family donated together? Nice job on the ban command ;)

Also, I would suggest you add in your time zone as well

I'm not sure, I donated last year and now we've all donated in February too.

I have also added my timezone!
 
Very nice application, you've accumulated a time jumping from 2 days and 9 hours to 3 days and 10 hours, I like the activity and the ban command correct on first try, impressive :)

Where to go from here?
  • Accumulate more time so it's possible to put take you into the procedures for 'Reviewing' phase
  • If there's ever an issue with a teleporter griefer or something of the such, don't hesitate to contact an admin if a vote doesn't pass, there's always on admin online who can easily step in and reporting to us makes us want to vouch for you more
  • Get the friends you've made on Dustbowl to come here and vouch for you being an admin for them
Regardless, I will +0 for now, once 10 days are accumulated and you're still have this activity as well as a clean profile, I'll +1. Not that hard to maintain, right?

Not sure if you are aware of this, but he couldn't have acquired 1 day and 1 hour of playtime from yesterday to now unless he was idling (considering he applied at 9PM and you answered at 12:30PM of the next day and it's also a work day for most people).

I currently have 2 days 10 hours, which is +1 hour.. perhaps he misread :grinning:

Yea I actually wondered about it aswell. Think he made a mistake there?!


Anyways, I think you need to get those 10 days of connection time full first, no matter how many you donated. Imagine the people would be buying themselves in. I think you are a good person and friendly chap, judging from your App. You will understand what I mean.

Until then, you should first target to get those hours you still need on the server. Amass 10 days of connection time in total. Sargent¥ has said what matters.

Big traders, mappers, donators or advertisers are exempted from that time rule.
 
+1. You seem to have no problems from what I've seen and you're very humble which is essential to being an admin. Also, you helped out the server by donating, not only yourself, but you also convinced your father and your sister to too. Good job and good luck.

Going to mark this 'improve' just so we can see what stage this app is at. Feel free to bump this or make a new app when you have the playtime behind you.
 
Okay so I have quite a bit more playing time behind me, I still think I would make a good admin.. just mainly because there doesn't seen to be a one that mains on the Dustbowl+ EU server! :grinning:

I still donate to Skial monthly too!

You should make a new app if you believe you have improved, this one is already marked.
 
As above may be worth making a fresh app but i approve of the chance of more admins on the eu side
