Will you get mad if you lose admin?:
No. I've been helping the community as an user, and believe being an admin would only help that much more. When I lose admin, I'll still be able to help the players, which is ultimately an admin's job.
How do you ban yourself using your own SteamID?:
sm_ban "#[U:1:78839058]" 30 "obvious aimbot"
Any other reason you should be admin:
Note on time and servers played: The times are approximate to weekdays where I'll be studying, but free days are much more free and I can spend much more time around. The servers are "approximate", as I play on a lot of EU servers, although mainly any Dustbowl, Jailbreak NY and Turbine. On activity, I am always checking the website (too often).

I like helping people. Over time, and most noticeably on Jailbreak, which requires constant supervision, I've seen as people break the rules many times while I'm there and need to call for an admin or do a report, in which then the damage is already done. Were I an admin, I would prevent and alleviate these problems.

I'm always willing to help people and while I may be slightly immature on the chat, I do get serious when things are taken out of control.

Words aren't my strong though since I prefer actions much more, which you might know if you've seen me. I've been an admin/moderator on several occassions on games not related to TF2, such as Gmod for a brief time and Minecraft for a long time, long long ago. This means I don't have any experience with sourcemod, which makes me slightly afraid (specially in-game) but it seems rather simple. I've also mapped and can map for Skial, and while I haven't done much I'm willing to fix problems if I am required. My most notable fix is Jailbreak's Minecart.

If you have any thoughts about the application, just comment and I'll be glad to read and answer them!

I saw this and was about to +1 but what Courtney just pointed out is pretty questionable.

+0 until some explanation for that, then I'll change it

Baiting people into breaking the rules? A bit immature even if it was just a joke.

I agree, the joke went absolutely out of hand and that's my responsibility. I don't exactly remember why I said it in the first place.

That was a silly little joke. You guys are blowing it out of proportion.
Your app is amazing, dude. Don't let those silly little things get to you.

Pedro is a strong member of this community with countless reports under his belt... there is no doubt in my mind that he will be an important asset as an admin.
Though I will say that he really hasn't done himself enough justice in this application, in all honesty. He knows the rules as well as any admin (especially Jailbreak).

This is absolutely true - since I've been getting into Jailbreak, he's been a lot of help in terms of explaining some areas of the rules that I wasn't fully sure about.
Furthermore, I have asked Pedro for help with mapping whilst I've been looking into new ideas, or working on projects - and he has been unwaveringly helpful.

I'm always willing to help people and while I may be slightly immature on the chat, I do get serious when things are taken out of control.
Throughout playing with you I've never seen you act immature through the chat, though it is important that you're able to cope with all kinds of communication.
From people being nice to you and thanking you for helping them, to being abusive because you banned their friend - or aren't going to ban someone they dislike.
It really depends how you're "immature", though I have full confidence that this won't be a problem, or is something you can work on improving.

Words aren't my strong though since I prefer actions much more, which you might know if you've seen me.
To add onto this, something you've not mentioned in the application but have told me personally - Pedro is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
This will no doubt help you communicate with people better on the servers, that aren't speaking English, or perhaps when English is not their native language.

In defence of what was said here - I remember exactly why it started. As you can see from the chat logs, I was on the server at the same time.
Pedro isn't in the wrong, though perhaps not the smartest thing to repeat, he was actually quoting someone who said something over microphone.
What happened was that someone over the microphone said "Which of the N words are banned?", which I answered over microphone
The person who asked, along with others - proceeded to say things over microphone to test me, "Figger", "Snigger", "Digger" - etc.
Pedro was making fun of what the people on microphones were doing, as many people on voice were also joking about it.

+1 I've known Pedro for over 2 years now and know that he can be serious when need be. I agree with Samson that you are making that joke a lot of a bigger issue than it really is.

P.S. Pedro you're still my little puppy

It seems as if he is obviously a friend of yours, and he himself said he was at fault. So I don't get why you're allowed to build onto his app for him and make excuses for him when he already admitted fault.

He never admitted anything - he said what is true, it was a dumb thing to say in chat - because when taken out of context (like you did), it could be an issue.
However I have explained the situation exactly as it happened, which as Pedro said - he could not recall.
Samson is right, this is such a minor thing, which when in context is pointless to use as evidence.

Far from pointless. It doesn't mater what the context is, his actions could have easily gotten other users in trouble. It boggles me how that's so easily ignored by everyone.

As I have explained - he couldn't have gotten people into trouble, as I was already on the server - furthermore, the rules state:
Does not include discussion of why it is against the rules.
Which, as far as I'm concerned, means that you can go on a server and say "Can I say n-----?", as long as you don't use it in an offensive context.
Furthermore (as is this context) he is quoting something that someone else has said, which you can't blame Pedro, even if someone did go on to use the n-word.

It is ignored because this is a non-point, there was an admin on at the time, nothing would've happened.
This is similar to all of the jokes that get thrown around of people saying that they want to abuse the votemenu against an admin.
An admin is aware of what is happening and is in full control of the situation - this shouldn't detract from Pedro's otherwise outstanding application.

Applications are supposed to be viewed from a professional and unbiased perspective. Adding on to his application for him, and expecting us to take your word as an unquestionable excuse for his actions is clearly a bit of bias being shown from your side.

If he was just some random that came and applied, the evidence I brought forward would have been valid.

You're absolutely right.

However, applications are for people to discuss their thoughts and opinions of on an applicant - I know Pedro prior to the application, so I can give more into it.
I'm not adding onto his application for him, just explaining my reasoning behind my support for his application, I prefer to give reasons when possible for my support.
Yes - I'm expecting you to take my word as an excuse for his actions, because that's what admins are, perhaps you don't like that - but it's just the way it is.

It's not bias, it's just that I'm aware of the facts that other people are not, there's a reason we don't have to collect evidence for most of the things that we do.
We're selected and trusted that we will be truthful and just in our upholding of the rules as much as possible... which is what I am doing right now.
I have given context for what was happening on the server, because I was there (as can be seen from the chatlog surrounding your quote).

If he was just some random that came and applied, it wouldn't have been no different - at all.
I would've defended the person in the very same way that I am doing now, Pedro (or the random) has done nothing wrong.
If someone makes an application tomorrow and their chatlog has something in it that I was present for and can explain - then I will.

+1 Played a couple of years on the same server and had always liked him. Your last app had been closed because of lack of support so hopefully this time things turn out better for you.

Aside from your toxic chat, you have a history of dumb rating people (especially me for some reason). It seems you have nothing else better to do, and in my opinion I just have a general bad feeling about you. You say you like helping people, but then you encourage others to say the "N word" which will result them in being banned. You also say you like helping people, when you dumb rate people. Sorry, -1.

And I don't see room for improvement, especially from someone like you. Maybe you should read up on my thread on why "Dumb ratings should be removed", the Morgan and Eastman relevance is actually quite similar to your mentality. Peace with all.
