Really, this is a relaxed server, and I believe that it should stay that way.

Yes I have, and I have noticed no problems with the way the server is handled. I obviously wasn't playing at the same time as Gamemaster.

Welp, there was an admin on hightower about a week ago that was talking the same way gamemaster does. he wasnt spamming, but he was interacting with us just like an average player. which was refreshing... thats all im trying to get at

Competence and maturity doesn't mean a person has to be completely uptight. It just means they aren't a dick, and if a problem rolls around, they deal with it effectively and efficiently.

If an admin acts like an admin, people will know. If an admin acts like a player, no one will know. Being able to hide in plain sight is the best way to catch hackers.

As a player and member of the community, it is a -1 from me for right now.

By the way, don't expect a result on this for a while. Most people aren't on at 2:15 EDT.

I know this is a really zen way to think about it, and is probably a good motto (for who? I don't know), but the best way to catch hackers in TF2 is spectate mode and getting a demo, not a relaxed attitude.
