even if the applicant were to have said the n word numerous times in the past or even has an extensive ban history (for minor offenses) the app shouldn't just be completely disregarded because of some petty bullshit tarnishing their record if the applicant's other credentials are lookin' fine as a lightskin girl

I don't know anything about this applicant, I just wanted to get this point out there

I've played with scarecrow many times from when he first started to frequent the server. He's changed a lot and I applaud him for that, but I'm still on the fence if he's actually someone I would like to see being an admin on that server regardless of his previous bans.

you're right, but it depends on the case

if I go and apply right now then I'd be fucked since I haven't played TF2 in an asslong time and my chatlog is beyond filthy, but if I were to be a model denizen of Skial servers for the next year or so and apply then, then they'd have no reason not to accept as long as the rest of my credentials are swell

just because a past exists doesn't mean it needs to be taken into account as long as it's evident that the applicant is proactive about being a good boy, you feel?

+1 I know you guys are kind of on the fence about him since he has previous offenses. He has however changed without a doubt. He is not someone who makes an app, gets declined for previous offenses, makes one 2 days later and says he's changed. After playing with him for months, I noticed that he is the kind of guy who would have perfect history so I never bothered checking it. Regardless of his history, he is still a very active, and good member of the skial community, and he would make a great addition to the team. After all, 4 months is a pretty big time and change can definitely occur in that amount of time.
 
+1 Scarecrow, awesome friend, good jb player, I don't see him get gagged/muted/kicked/ban at all. From what i have played with him, he tries to do his best on helping the new players, including myself (even though I'm not that new). He would be a excellent admin, besides, when I play Jailbreak I do not see many admins on as they usually are. I only see Blake often...:blush::smiley:

Also if by Blake you are talking about Blakenator, he isn't an admin.
 
-1 for just creating a new app out of the blue without even bumping this one & seemingly immaturity.

I agree with sboles and when asked why he made a new app he gave quite a piss poor answer. It's dumb to make a new app because you think this was not going well, when in reality it was not doing bad at all. Sure you were not getting all the 1+'s but thats going to happen all the time.
