Played with you a couple of times and only heard good things about you from my brother and other EU friends. Try to gather more support from the turbine regulars.

1. Ly_dee is being racist on the mic. What do you do?

2. Ly_dee on a different day says "WOW SKIAL SUCKS. NIGHTTEAM IS WAY BETTER GO TO www.nightteam.com". What do you do?

1. First offence - warning. Second offense - 24hr silence:
  • sm_psay "#[U:1:114691004]" "Racist language is against Skial rules. You will be silenced if you use it again."
  • sm_silence "#[U:1:114691004]" 1440 "Racism"
Longer silences for repeat offenders. I would skip the warning for people who are clearly using racist language to insult or offend.

2. No action if it's a one-off, warning if they are spamming, and silence if they ignore the warning:
  • sm_psay "#[U:1:114691004]" "Spamming is against Skial rules. You will be silenced if you continue."
  • sm_silence "#[U:1:114691004]" 1440 "Spam"
Again, longer silences for repeat offenders.

Its important to note that example two isn't against the rules and you shouldn't do anything. But you are right if he is spamming.

1. I get jealous of Ly_dee talking to other guys so i get on the server and i spam her full name and address. What do you do?

2. You silenced a guy for racism and you discover he made a new account. What do you do?

1. Since posting personal information without consent is grounds for a permanent ban, that is what I would do.
  • sm_ban "#[U:1:20873054]" 0 "Posting personal info without consent"

2. If I'd silenced the user for 1 day, I would ban him for 3 days if he used the account to connect to Skial, since dodging is against the rules. Longer for repeat offenders.
  • sm_ban "#[U:1:20873054]" 4320 "Silence dodging"

All of the above. Clean chat, good effort, etc. You get my +1

Scenario
You are an admin playing on the Blu team on Turbine, and the entire red team switch to heavy, start throwing sandviches around, and generally lighten up on their defense. They are still killing some Blu players, but in general are more concerned with feeding sandviches indiscriminately to injured players, thus still racking up points.
The whole Red team consists of those who have supported your application here.
Question
Tell me, how do you deal with this situation? How would you deal with this situation if the scenario was reversed and the Blu team all went sandvich heavy and acted the same way.
Please include any commands you may use.

Since you couldn't possibly tell if they were all breaking rules at the same time, I would first send a message to all players reminding them of the rules:
  • sm_csay "Being friendly towards the enemy team will result in a ban"

I would then check the chat log for any obvious instigator - a player telling their team to be friendly - and ban them. Following this, I would spectate Red players to see if any are still actively healing the enemy team. If they are, they're refusing to help advance their team's position, which is against the rules. I would ban the first one I came across:
  • sm_ban "#[U:1:78791847]" 1440 "Friendly towards enemy team"

If there turned out to be more than one person actively healing the enemy, I would slay their whole team instead of going straight to banning multiple people. In my experience, breaking up groups of friendly players normally puts an end to their antics, without needing to get rid of them all. Any players who continued to break the rules after the slay would then be banned:
  • sm_slay @Red
  • sm_ban "#[U:1:78791847]" 1440 "Friendly towards enemy team"

As for Red players who are healing each other while still fighting Blu and dropping sandviches around the map rather than towards specific players, they are not breaking any rules and I would take no action against them. Healing an enemy with a sandvich does not give you any points.

If the scenario was reversed, swap the Red/Blu references above.

I'm withdrawing this app; I have become too busy to dedicate any significant amount of time to the role.

Good luck.
